Round 3 : Bowlers
Initial Draw
@Disharies :
Muttiah Muralitharan (Good)
The player with the most ODI wickets of all time, he's as good of a pull as you could hope for. Unfortunately Disharies has already used up his protect, so he can just hope that no one swaps with him
@mohsin7827 :
Waqar Younis (Good)
Waqar took 416 wickets in ODIs and took one every 30 balls which are numbers not replicated by anyone else. A third straight good player for Mohsin, and arguably the best one of them all
@Till Valhalla :
Dawlat Zadran (Medium)
Zadran was a much better cricketer than most people give him credit for, he was the quickest and one of the most important pacers for Afghanistan all throughout the 2010s
@pillowprocter :
Janeiro Tucker (Bad)
Tucker could bat and bowl but was far from international standard in both, resulting in an unflattering overall record. Has to be amongst the worst players in recent times to get the captaincy
@ddrap14 :
James Tredwell (Medium)
A pretty serviceable offie, Tredwell did not win many games by himself for England but had a decent career especially in ODIs where his numbers are much better than most people might expect
@Neo 7 :
Andy Caddick (Medium)
Caddick's international career was unfortunately cut short due to injuries, but before that he was a important part of the English pace attack. Although more known for his performances in test cricket, he had a good run in ODIs too
@ahmedleo414 :
Brett Lee (Good) [Protected
]
380 wickets in 220 games are unrivalled numbers, and its not surprising to see him protected. Would be a genuine contender in the GOAT ODI bowlers discussion if he had played for a few years more
@CerealKiller :
Ray Price (Medium)
Arguably the best ODI spinner of all time for Zimbabwe, Price was an economical spinner who was not the most consistent but had a few excellent years in which he contributed to some famous wins
@RUDI :
Qadeer Ahmed (Bad)
Its not ideal when a cricketer does not have an ESPN bio, but to be fair Qadeer does have a few articles written about him. Unfortunately they have to do with his 5 year ban for match fixing.
@Verified Enigma :
Chris Drum (Bad)
Another bomb of a pull, Drum had a respectable domestic career but could never make the jump to international cricket. Arguably should have played more test cricket, can't say the same for ODIs
