What is the most important aspect of Playstation 3?

I've mentioned the deal in the thread before somewhere I think, but no harm in mentioning it again:p:

The 60gb PS3
F1:CE
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Fifa 08
And an Extra Controller

for £425.

The list of what the 40GB does not feature compared to the 60GB:

Backwards Compatibility with PS2 Games
Memory Stick Card Readers
SACD Playback
Ethernet Cable
4 USB Ports, 40GB features 2.

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to this kind of stuff so I don't really understand that part. Any of them important and what are they for?

The most important differences between the versions are the 20GB less storage space and the fact that you can't play PlayStation 2 games on the 40GB.

Yes but Surely who will actually fill a 60GB memory?

If you save a lot of files from your games so you don't have to start over again, download content from the PlayStation Network and store your photos, videos and music on your PlayStation 3 then it's not too hard to fill up 60GB.

How much does an average game file take up? Or any really that you have, just for a general idea.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat can't play PS2 games on 40 GB version. Thanks man was going to buy a 40 GB one but now will go for a 60 GB version.

If you have PS2 games then you will have a PS2, you don't need to have the backwards compatibility, especially when you can buy a PS2 for less than the difference in price between the two models, it is hardly worth getting the 60GB or 80GB one just for BC.

I personally have just one space for leads and really only one place for a console. Why would you want to keep the PS2 if you had a PS3 with backwards compatibility anyway, you might as well trade it in or sell it on to someone you know.

That's quite a good deal, although FIFA sucks, where was the deal from?

IMO fifa owns

however. lets not go into the FIFA discussion.. theres other threads for it..

i reckon the PS3 rocks... i like the 360.. but if money isn't a problem i would go PS3... seems to be the better quality console.. not to mention a good barbecue....

I got a 20 gb PS3 which I brought from japan like 8 months ago
and To be honest I don't really need a 60gb.
because all I wont to do is play games on it.
