Pokemon? Mafia - Endgame | Town (BKB1991/P Squared) wins!

It was night, and the pokemon went to slumber, though one could still hear many footsteps in the dead of the night.

Grass rustled as the pokemon walked in it, searching for it's target. At last it saw him relaxing over a beach, or rather sleeping. Hiding behind a dark bush, the pokemon smirked to itself and launched it's favourite attack that it believed would see it's target dead.....

They were similar to each other in some aspects. And tonight they were together. As they sat together, one of them shouted with pain - "Ah, something bit me, it hurts!"
The other pokemon was confused. He didn't know how to reduce the pain, although he knew some other stuff, which was of no use, in this case.

He was an important one in the group, but unfortunately, he didn't have any significant task to do this night. As he slept quite peacefully, he sensed someone nearby, although he was too sleepy to check who it was.

The sun rose slowly, and the pokemon woke up. Vedarshi (random name) was quick to count their number, and announced that no one had been killed. There were disappointed faces in the group of pokemon, as they realized their kill had failed.

It's day 2, with 18 pokemon alive, it takes 10 for a majority lynch.

But I am confused. From that write-up, it seems two attacks happened last night. Makes sense that one failed, but what about the other?

The third paragraph is interesting. Might be hinting that there might be a cult?

the too sleepy part makes me believe the attacked pokemon was snorlax and as he has a powerful body it makes sense if he has an unkillable role

Wow, amazing. Brilliant for us as we had lost two townies during the day. Here are my observations -

I think one of us is poisoned here. Can't derive anything else from this.

Now, I think there is a need to put some pressure on the most suspicious person for me.

Your point would be valid if Snorlax was attacked. However, seeing that it is in separate paragraphs, I feel it refers to something else. Maybe USer2010 has a point.

I doubt Varun would give away anything like that. For me, it has to be someone not using his role and nothing else. Though this,

makes me think the possibility of a second attack. But, having two killers against town seems quite a bit.

Leave the repeating part, but tell me what you were up to earlier? Did you even at all help the town? I'd like you to try and decode the writeup, whatever we have got. Reverting back at me also doesn't really help you.

Smurf, is the second attack you're referring to same as my above post? Or the one where one says, 'Ouch, that hurts (something of that sort)'?

Whoever the Doc is, he has done some remarkable job, great that we didn't lose another townie. That keeps the game balanced, we lost 2 townies on day 1 but didn't lose a single townie on night 1.

As User mentioned, someone was poisoned. Which Pokemon can have the power of poisoning?

Well, I'm about to go off. Just to let everyone know, don't just lynch off p# yet. I'm suspicious of him but, I don't want mafia to be jumping on the bandwagon and getting rid of another innocent townie. We should just see how he goes about.

Two related Pokemon. Or atleast, who were always shown together in the show. I'm sure there are some. First was bit - poisoning? Second one has a power, which was useless in this situation, but is present.
Figure out the twin/couple, figure out 2 more townie characters and roles.

Possibly Snorlax but not necessarily. Important one in the group, no significant task for that night which suggests he may have an important role later/on specific occasions. Sensed someone nearby - could have been the tracker. My guess is someone with a one-shot power, who didn't use it this night?

Will probably be able to better analyze this later.

The first para doesn't detail, btw, if the kill failed because of a doctor or because of whoever was targeted's role - bulletproof vest, survivor, etc. Very feasible in Pokemon with a lot of rock/ghost Pokemon.
My guess is though that the doc saved us...so whoever he is, good job.

As for who to lynch...i'll think about that tomorrow.

Actually, that could also be to do with their types. Like evolutions or something.

This is obv that both pokemon here have similar types, e.g. Water, Bird, Rock etc.

Two things I believe have been forseen.

Mafia, most likely, failed to kill. Could be due to the doc as mentioned or maybe if the town roleblocker succesfully blocked the mafia godfather. What I would recommend is for the roleblocker to try again some other night on the same guy to see if there is a kill. If no kill, we have found the godfather.

Maybe a watcher or someone with a role to keep an eye on or something related used his role on a fellow townie, who is probably the one poisoned. Someone is poisoned, if you know you are, the wise Idea is to give a hint or even claim it openly, otherwise you are likely to die anyways.
