the BAT and BOWL level is for your player, the amatuer pro etc is for the AI.... example you set bat to easy then the length indicator of the AI bowler with popup much sooner to make yr batting easier....

I play on MED Bat, HARD bowl and Pro, its fairly balanced, will have to crank up batting difficulty in stages as most people online play LEGEND

How come players like Warner and Smith are playing for NSW at the same time they are playing for Australia in career mode. Is it a bug or is it because they are in both squads

I am struggling to get any response from my career player when bowling and the ball is hit back to me. He just stands there and lets the ball go back past him regardless if its in the air or on the ground.

I have watched youtube video's of bowlers diving left and right and fielding the ball but i can not get the same response from my players.

What am i failing to do??

Still looking for an answer ! How to change competition & tour's international games timing ? All games starts Day game..T20 also starts on Day Mode. I am not able to edit in Match Designer .

How do we hit a six guysss???!! I play a shot with all ideal parameters, Timing, Shot selection, and footwork, but I still get caught out.

I mean we have to start our career from T20, which is annoying for me, and without hitting a six or boundary on regular intervals my player won't progress.

That's something you should expect from a player whose overall rating is between 30 to 40! Cheers! keep playing!

Was wondering about the custom match difficulty settings. Was messing around with it. TBH, I failed to find any significant changes apart from fielders are taking "mission impossible" catches and dropping most of the "obvious" ones!
Does any of you gave it a series of playtest to find out a close to realism settings for the same? Please post a screenshot if any of you did! Thank yoU!

So just before I restart my career again (for the 4th time) does anybody have a conclusive way of eliminating duplicate international players?
I can't be dealing with two or three sets of twins in every team.

I have a few questions if you don't mind helping decided if I buy this game at the moment.

1. I created a lot of teams from about 1977 to 1998 for the Australian summers, am I able to download those teams if they are uploaded to the cricket academy from DBC 14 in to my game in DBC 17?

No you can't I'm afraid.
