What do you suggest we do in the hypothetical event that we change the focus of the forum.

You give them a week ban and they continue to spam when they come back. You give them two weeks and they continue and with each ban, there is increased member unrest. Moreover, we can't go banning our most active members.

Just like to mention I had a perfectly fine thread deleted... - while other even worse threads exist...
Seriously - what the hell is going on here.
Ever since tassie left, this forum has gone down down and down.
Also, there are many moderators on this forum who haven't visited the website for months!
Although I think the staff reshuffle isn't for months, I think an emergency staff reshuffle is in need.

Tassie only left 2 days ago...
It all started going downhill in the India v Aus ODI series last year and was at its peak after the 2nd test this year.
I don't know what we're going to do, but we need to get PC out there. Get some more quality members. Sadly, most forums don't allow advertising.

Lewd jokes count as spam, so that might help.

Yes, but the forum has gone downhill quickly in those 2 days
I honestly found the easiest way to avoid the problem during the India v Australia series was just to not enter that thread.
It helped my sanity quite a bit
The other thing to note as to why this site isn't as active as it used to be could be that we haven't had a cricket game released for nearly a year now.
And it doesn't look like we're gonna get one released till next winter I think, or even beyond that.
This website was primarily dedicated to Cricket 2007 and BLIC 2007, but those games (and their popularity) have died out.

Those posts are just a waste of my bandwidth and supply nothing with the conversation.
And its more of a hassle to actually report all 4 posts
Thats probably why most posts don't get reported, because its usually more than one that is afflicted with spam.

I'm not gonna lie; i'm part of the problem because I have been guilty of spamming up the forums with naughty jokes and a bit of off-topic banter. It's not as if i'm a terrorist though is it? I'm hardly kicking new born babies in the face am I?
