We can discourage text speaking by ignoring all text speak and not replying to it. Mods can click the delete button as soon as they see text speak too. Eventually, newbies will learn to type properly to gat an answer.

Well I was a member who only posted in the ICC forum for around a year. Then, I came out of that forum due to its inactivity and was surprised to see all the other sub-forums were chaotic at the least. I have been a member for well over 3 years and have recently become an once in a week type of member and have stopped posting altogether in the past few weeks. Primary reasons - arseholes trying to play saints and being idiotic hypocrites, people with an IQ of under 1 trying to argue etc. I dont care if I am infracted or banned for using swear words in my above sentence. When I first came to this site, senior members used to be helpful to new members and there was a chance to make friends which is the whole point of a forum. These days we have members who are psychopaths who hate their own country, members who have got nothing to say other than "Tats gr8 m8" and I am sick of it. This might be my last post on this site and I will get active again only when the forum gets back to its old days. I will be happy to help however if my help is needed.

I agree with you, you have some real good points there. Tbh you shouldn't leave, the site could do with more members such as yourself.

Seriously though. You'll find my sub-standard Asian members than English/Australian etc. This is because English isn't thier first language ofcourse!
I think most understand that but my point is that instead of taking the piss, we should be educating them. My point is valid, if they learn good English at this stage then they're set for life! My point on the likes of Kshitiz, Abhas etc. stand true.
We had a 40 year old female serial killer here at one point. Was a solid patchmaker too...
