Big Picture
Ricky Ponting, Mike Hussey, Shane Watson, Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo, the stars of the PPL and International Cricket who have shone the brightest so far, will be missing in action soon. Players from Australia and West Indies won't be available to play in the PPL for the next 2 Rounds as Australia and West Indies are involved in a bilateral series. The Australians are expected to play till the end of April before heading for a T20 World cup training camp in Brisbane while the West indies PPL players were allowed to miss the training camp but will nonetheless have to join the squad by April 25th. PPL TV looks at the possible impact of the event on the various PPL teams.

Mohammad Yousaf

Lahore Lions
Lahore Lions is one of those team which are lucky with injury and International duty problems.Their only player which is on International duty is Mohammad Yousuf, which we know is not one of best when it comes to T20.But rumors are their as we can expect Daniel Vettori and Mark Boucher to depart as South Africa will start it's New Zealand's tour in late May.So the next 20 days could add many punches to Lahore Lions.

Shane_Watson.jpg

Shane Watson

Karachi Kings

Shane Watson is the only player which has leaved the team and he won't be available for the next 2 Rounds. Karachi choose players more wisely as they are expecting to be least effected by Missing in Action earth quake. But injuries are what which is always there to occur for any player.

Khurram-Manzoor_1864360.jpg
Michael-Hussey_2323105.jpg

Khurram Manzoor and Mike Hussey

Sialkot Stars
Playing there first match Khurram Manzoor was injured as he was trying to catch a bullet speed shot from Umar Akmal but fortunately injury is not that much serious. Mike Hussey will also be unavailable for next two Rounds as he was selected for Australian tour of Westindies. Sialkot might have a little edge over all teams as they have so many high profile players that they can afford one or two players Missing in Action.

Mashrafe_Mortaza_589220.jpg

Kumar Sangakkara and Mashrafe Mortaza

Swat Superstars

Swat will miss their captain Kumar Sangakkara as he was effected badly from flue and he is having high fever. Swat's media spokesman said that he will be fit and will be there in the team by next round. Sangakkara lead the team from front as they beat Peshawar in their opening game.Mashrafe Mortaza will be the other player which will Miss the Action for Swat as he will leave the team tonight due to some personnel family reasons.

Kevin-Pietersen-365_1155376.jpg

Chris Gayle and Kevin Pietersen

Multan Muggers

Mugger's team will be the worst hit by the exodus. Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen though he is yet to play due to injury, will be missing in action soon. These are the big shoes to fill as both players were considered as backbone of Multan side. Good news for them is as Dhoni will be available for them in the next rounds so they might find more depth in their batting unit.

Shivnarine_Chanderpaul_588986.jpg

Lasith Malinga and Shivnarine Chanderpaul

Peshawar Panthers
After loosing a closely fought match, they also lost Lasith Malinga who was hit by a shoulder injury. Peshawar Spokesman said that Malinga will join the team soon. Shivnarine Chanderpaul will leave the team as he will be playing for Westindies against Australia.

Ricky_Ponting_1.jpg

Ricky Ponting

Rawalpindi Rams
Rams will miss their most experienced and high profile Australian captain as he will almost miss entire two to three upcoming rounds.Kemar Roach will also leave by the next Round. Roach bowled very well in his first Round so his departure might cause problems for them.

Dwayne_Bravo_588984.jpg
Brad_Haddin_589012.jpg

Dwayne Bravo and Brad Haddin

Faisalabad Trolls

Bravo and Haddin are their two main players which will Miss the Action for them but this is not the end, Sohail Tanvir and Ajantha Mendis might also leave the team due to T20 World cup. So Faisalabad will have to fight against both injury and against other teams.

Summary
Next few days might change the scenario for all teams, it will be matter of luck and management skill that which team will be less effected by injuries and international duties.

Unfortunate to have so many injuries and unavailable players, but nice roundup anyway.
Writing is much better- I'm not tyring to picky but I think you'd want to be told (I know I do when I make many mistakes in my story)- Unless he's changed again it's Mohammad Yousuf not Yousaf but I appreciate there are different spellings of such names, so please tell me if I'm wrong. Also it should be Daniel Vettori not Daneil Vettori.
But otherwise it was a good read, keep it up!

Actually Spellings of Arabic and persian names are different as these words are not native to English.
Since My cousin used to write Yousaf so I unintentionally use Yousaf while cricinfo tell it's Yousuf which I think more correct.
For Vettori I'll correct both.

Thread for Round 2 Lineups has been created, try to post as early as possible.

nice update as always Aoun!
Good to see us only missing Yousef, not a big problem tbh, though it is confusing that he is on national duty wheras other Pakistanis are not.
Wouldnt miss Boucher too much but Vettori could be a big blow.

That's secret, I'll reveal it in upcoming days(it's part of storyline)

Thanks guys, thanks for you all appreciation.

waiting for Pakistan Army to post his lineup as Swat is having 1st match of Round 2.

IMO S2Y, if two teams have submitted line ups, you should play that game first, it means you don't have to go waiting on people and then can do it as and when.

Yeah, I'll wait till morning as at the moment I am doing as assignment, so if by that time PakistaniArmy able to post lineup then well and good otherwise I'll workaccording to Ollie's idea.
