Nice match , looks like a bowling pitch which later in the first innings got improved but deteriorated further in the second innings.

You can change the extension to txt instead of excel as well.

Here is summary of features i requested with the developer of my cricket game highlights , let's hope 80% of them get implemented correctly.

Bowling Mechanics

  • Swing:
    • Introduce realistic in-air swing for pacers.
    • Reverse swing should return randomly from overs 36–50, especially when pitch sliders are above 7.
    • Swing duration based on pitch conditions:
      • Normal pitch: swing for 10 overs.
      • Batting-friendly: 4 overs.
      • Bowling-friendly: 16 overs.
      • Bowlers with swing rating >90 can occasionally swing it beyond 16 overs.
  • Seam & Cutters:
    • Add minimal seam movement after pitch.
    • Make cutters more realistic with limited deviation—not exaggerated.
    • Higher-skilled bowlers should experience less friction after pitching, meaning their deliveries stay quicker.
  • Drift for Spinners:
    • In early overs (esp. with new ball), spinners should get more drift and less spin.
    • From over 36+, if pitch sliders are high, spinners can regain air drift.
  • Ball Bounce:
    • Introduce pitch bounce slider to control how much the ball bounces for both pacers and spinners across both innings.
  • Bowler Attributes:
    • Add height-based variation in bounce.

Batting & Outcomes

  • Dot Ball Outcomes:
    • On a dot ball, display a leave, defensive shot, or play-and-miss animation depending on batter/bowler/pitch.
  • Advanced Shots:
    • Only allow complex shots like helicopter, dilscoop, reverse hit for sixes if the batter has 75+ batting skill.
  • Edge Runs:
    • Runs off edges should depend on player skill and pitch conditions, not be generic.

I will be happy if someone post match summary of multiple matches on different pitches so as to showcase the ability of the match engine diversity. Try playing the matches with International teams as the initial years youth teams are not trained from cricinfo. But subsequent youth players attributes and traits get trained dynamically with real life players so the match engine accuracy remain intact in future years even after 200 in game years.

The match engine is designed in such a way that it will never produce a single match with unrealistic scores because it's been trained to track scorecards from real life matches.

BTW setting the pitch conditions to max that is 10 for pace , bounce and spin ratings will create an unplayable pitch so extremely low scores can be detected specially if there is a wide gap between the strength of both teams , it's better to keep the pitch ratings between 4 to 7 instead of extreme ends.

Same applies for vice versa if the pitch is extremely batting friendly that is rating 1 for pace , bounce and spin will create an extremely batting wicket where hitting 450 will be very likely possible.

you can use players with relevant traits for countering dangerous pitches and similarly you can use bowlers with traits like pitch out of equation and other relevant traits to remain effective even on batting tracks.

The object of this game is to create truly unique players which can be distinguished easily in the 3d highlights , will you go for an 18 year old flashy young pacer who bowls at 140k but can't swing the ball and is inconsistent with his line/length or you will go for a mature 21 year old medium pace who bowls at 130k but swings it away and is very accurate , who will prove to be more valuable to your team a flashy batter who can produce 30 ball 50 runs on a batting wicket opening the batting or you will look for Mr.Wall type player who preserve his wicket in tense match situation and score a matching winning 100 ball 60 odd runs to secure a victory.

I am definitely going to remove the bat and bowl attributes alongside traits visibility so that users can actually roleplay as coaches and feel their players by actually watching them , just what real coaches do in real life.

I can say that this game is a Tennis Elbow equivalent for cricket.

Plus there will be huge update in the next 15 days.
