PS3 Online T20 Rankings

Right guys, i was thinking of the idea of having rankings for our online games. It would mainly be based on the Champions Trophies we have been playing and are yet to play in the future, and any other series or tourneys we arrange.

I think the criteria should be win %, so for example at the moment Lilas11 would top the tables with a win % of 100% from 9 games. (Other criteria option could be simply based on rating points and not win %)

there obviously would need to be certain rules like minimum number of games from a player to be eligble for the rankings, we can also have rating points, plus bonus points for wins, penalty points for losses etc..

Possible we can base the rankings on the last 10 games each player has played to make it up to date, or we can just have it continuing.

Feedback? Bad Idea? Good Idea? Btw...I would not be able to manage this on my own.

Its a great idea RIZZY. Also I think some additional points should be awarded for 8 and above team tourneys...

Since we are going with %age i dont think we should use the last 10 games or so but have it rolling... I suggest you can have the points as win%/10 with addition 5,4,3,2,1 points awarded on tourney standing so that would make it something like
1. Lilas11-15
2. Rizzyx-10.6
3. Lonewolf- 9.2
4. Thankdamilk-7
5. Gougie- 6
6. psymax- 5

Yes i agree with having it on going, and with bonus points for doing well in major tourneys.

Also there can be one additional bonus point for each game, for teams who do extra well in that game, for example:

Scoring more than 250 when batting
Winning by more than 100 runs
Bowling the opposition out for under 100
etc..

Players could aslo face a penalty of up to one point if they:
Conceed more than 250 when bowling
Lose by more than 100 runs
Are bowled out for under 100
etc..

Lilas11 mate if were going to do this then i will need your help for setting up the tables etc..?
