Alright, my gut says User might be saying the truth. I looked up the earlier thread again where BKB was lynched, and I can see why he would claim so early.
I've been survivor a couple of times, but my theory has been completely different.
Basically, the way he's claimed, it almost gives him a license to bandwagon.
However, at the moment, I would not like to commit the same mistake we did with BKB, thus:

Unlynch: User
No Lynch

And how is it going Abhas? Satisfied with the role?

Too soon to start talking about roles. We already have 1 member give away their role (or lack of it).
I'd answer a No, simply because it my answer would lead you to judge my role based on my answer.

Not much else to say about the survivor claim. I follow a rule of lynching all third parties unless we have a guilty on someone, so even if User's telling the truth, I'm happy with the lynch.

We can afford to have him around for a couple of days, but I don't see the point when Day 1 almost always ends with no lynch and we might have to waste a lynch on him closer to endgame if we don't nail the mafia early. Just feels like we'd be a step behind unless we get lucky on Night 1 and 2.

Reason? I think it is better to claim survivor early as if one does it afterwards, assume after being investigated, people usually go after the person. It also gives both the sides a chance to think whether they should keep me. I have done it basically to assure my survival for sometime in the game or if it backfires, I will go now.

I think I remember what BKB did and people lynched him off only to be proven wrong. Remember, my vote can actually come in pretty handy for both..

I am not speaking from only town's pov. Mafias also have the benefit here. So, Abhas go to the QT and think. If you are a mafia, that is. Or, just think about a scenario where my vote can turn the game in your favor, given you are town.

Aren't you confusing Survivor with Miller? Survivor should come up innocent as far as I know. I get the feeling you didn't put enough thought into your claim, especially when everyone who has claimed Survivor recently has been lynched immediately.

If the claim somehow is true, then I still feel you help the mafia more than you help town since you'll never be targeted at night, can afford to vote recklessly and will be overlooked in the coming days as we try to decipher the write-ups and results.

I believe Users claim. I was infuriated when I was lynched like that, but for the time being User can survive. What I think is we can wait and see our luck in the next few days. If we are losing townies and mafia are getting stronger we should get rid of him to help our odds.

But if you plan on surviving on the towns watch User, you better be contributing to discussion otherwise you are just wasting space and that would be an excuse to get rid of you

Little bit suspicious of this post, like you're realising that User could be beneficial to you if you're mafia. And if we're losing townies and mafia are getting stronger, that's my point about having to waste a lynch on him then, rather than pressing for the actual mafia.

He didn't even show any sort of reaction, so I think I'll have to wait for him to post later.
The yellow thing in the write-up confirms that User is survivor, I think. Also, apart from that red/blue/yellow thing which we all agree on, I don't believe there is anything substantial in it.

@ Sedition - I think it depends on the mod whether he gives survivor as town/anti town (I don't know how these would work as survivor can actually play a role of both) or a 3rd party (which I feel is correct). I may be wrong. I did claim early inspite of knowing the previous survivors couldn't get away. But, I am hoping this time it won't be the case. And, how am I more helpful to the mafia? I can shift sides at will (vote, that is). So, I am sort of a trump card if used correctly for both the sides. How to use me depends on you guys. I am not going to vote anyhow, one wrong vote and I maybe gone. If you know what I mean..

I hate players playing the n00b card, always need to be wary of them. We can never be sure about their alignment.. could very well be mafia under disguise.

Yes , because of my home-work sometimes I forget how this was running but when I see the scary write-up , I get my memories back .I think I should not have joined this league because I am inactive at the time when you guys are active .

This is not a league.. I suggest you to read few other games first and request PD to sub in people for Mark and pallu.

Strengthens his claim, but not confirms. I won't be too sure of anybody this early in the game.

I'd hope pallu would read through a few games and understand the basics (if he doesn't). I know he's a new player, but it makes reading him a futile task.

I'd No Lynch for now. Some discussion before the end of Day 1 may be useful, but we don't need an excess of it lest it leads to revelation of crucial details which would be bad on Day 1 itself.

Really not much going on barring Users claim.

If Pallu is gonna keep going on like this, I will be inclined to lynch him. That kind of play where you are likely to do more harm than good is not helpful for the town at all
