I don't quite see the reason for User's claim on the first day.. Maybe he's trying to put himself under focus. Might want a cop to investigate him or something. Could very well be the GF, and would turn up town on 1st investigation.

Anyway, I've my lynch on him already.

Reason? I think it is better to claim survivor early as if one does it afterwards, assume after being investigated, people usually go after the person. It also gives both the sides a chance to think whether they should keep me. I have done it basically to assure my survival for sometime in the game or if it backfires, I will go now.

I think I remember what BKB did and people lynched him off only to be proven wrong. Remember, my vote can actually come in pretty handy for both..

I am not speaking from only town's pov. Mafias also have the benefit here. So, Abhas go to the QT and think. If you are a mafia, that is. Or, just think about a scenario where my vote can turn the game in your favor, given you are town.

I believe Users claim. I was infuriated when I was lynched like that, but for the time being User can survive. What I think is we can wait and see our luck in the next few days. If we are losing townies and mafia are getting stronger we should get rid of him to help our odds.

But if you plan on surviving on the towns watch User, you better be contributing to discussion otherwise you are just wasting space and that would be an excuse to get rid of you

I don't lynching off newbies because they've got no idea what they're doing but the problem is they could be mafia and it's being missed because newbies almost always look scummy.
We've had a few newer players recently who've really had no clue how to play and I fear pallu may fit into that category.

The thing that makes me suspicious of User is as follows: If I was Survivor, I'd keep it under my hat. At the end of the day the survivor is only dangerous to the town if he votes with the Mafia, so there's no point User revealing on D1 unless he's hiding something.

User, explain me your tactics if you will. You might side in favor of mafia or you might side in favor of the town. Why shall we keep you, when both the sides are at stake here? If anything, you'll throughout the game will be a threat to both the sides because in the end, it's your win that matters to you and hence, I don't understand why you are claiming so early in the game.

I got to win with a side. Mafia or town doesn't matter to me. I am not going to act like I am with the town like all the people do. I am here to survive and that's it. I am an equal threat to both yes, but there is also an equal advantage to both the sides. Whom I will favor is obviously who has better chance of winning. For now, it is town as town is more in number..

I wouldn't keep it under my hat like you. As you say and it is, my aim is to survive. So, by claiming what I have done is prevent a night kill on me by the mafia maybe. They no longer will think I am town. And, chances are less of me being nked hence. So, I have put it out there to actually survive!

Yeah I see what you're saying, but I would suggest there are far better candidates to pick off straight off the bat Night 1. I'm just suspicious that you've claimed survivor when there's a high probability you're an SK.

Who knows? Maybe there's 2 indivs..

Exactly. I find this move from User a little weird, considering he could have looked at the proceedings a little more carefully and then perhaps could have gone on about revealing his role. The suspicious part for me, more than his claim is the time of his claim. A survivor claiming so early in the game, is very risky tbh. Unless he's a mafia and trying too hard to prove his innocence early in the game but then again, the point about cop investigation (and him appearing guilty) and hence looking suspicious does make a little sense, although that would also apply for a mafia. This is just confusing me more and more, I'd go with the majority. What do the else think?

Sorry guys, was busy today.

User's claim is the center of attention of course. Can't draw any conclusions right know as to whether he is indeed telling the truth, but my (unreliable) intuition tells me he's hiding something. Besides, it's so easy to claim an incomplete role early in the game, since we have almost null information at Day 1. And of course, we would all be wary of lynching a 'Survivor' first day due to what happened last game with BKB so it would be great claim. Mere speculation and directionless reasoning though, so can't be backed up.

What I don't like however is, the supposed Survivor using the 'I can help town when needed' card, because in the end, a Survivor wouldn't care about who's needed, so the town should trust the Survivor in return of that uncertain 'help'. Maybe I don't like it because I haven't been a Survivor yet but as a player I'd want the survivor to be blunt and straightforward and not coaxing around.

Besides that, Pallu as a newbie is hard to tell. Zhuorb is his usual self saying he'll post later and others too hard to read. Sedition seems town (and well pointed those spelling 'mistakes'!), but can't trust him.
