Tbh I'm not really that much into the Cricket simulators. I just don't find them as engaging as say FM. Though it would be harsh to compare either ICC or CC to FM, I just can't play those games for long.

Like seriously, all I see is Gambience taking their shat elsewhere and unloading a bunch of 'final stages' bs on us. Plus, don't get me started on Big Ant advancement or the Cricket 07 commemorations - serves as a stark reminder to the state of it at the moment.

It definitely is, what's depressing is if a company released a cricket game and actually let the community support it with editable code, they'd do a lot better than attempting to lock it off. Everything gets cracked eventually regardless, whilst I picked it up 2nd hand on the cheap, so no revenue went to the makers anyway.

If I knew that once it was out patch makers would be able to start tweaking default cpu fields, adding new tournaments, increasing the texture quality etc it would be an instant purchase every two years.
