Visit but don't touch is my rule.

or just go to the subreddit for it and the best bit from 4chan are posted there, that way you don't have to sort through the mounds of crap for the few gems

^ Is that an Air Rifle you've got there? Looks pristine. Shot one before, hell of a nuisance if somebody puts the round in skirt first, high maintenance as well. How much recoil does it have when shooting one of them If I may ask out of interest?

Not sure if trolling...

It shoots a 7.62x54mm cartridge.

The recoil is comparable to a 30-06 or a 12 gauge shotgun using heavy loads.

Tell me which one you thought was the pellet? I'll give you a hint, one is a battery. I'm genuinely interested in how you could see all those pictures and the video and still think it shoots pellets.

watch the video dude,

:rolleyes Didn't look at the bullets, just saw the rifle. Was just speaking from my own experience. Obviously it's a bit crappy compared to the one you own.

Dude, don't knock on air rifles. That's how I learned as a kid and I still have one today. In fact I shot a few dove this week using it.

Hold 2 mins and I'll show you my air rifle. It's seriously the best way to learn, get a cheap scope, sight it in and you can shoot indoors/outdoors all day.

Here is it, just a cheap Daisy with a rimfire scope on it. Accurate up to maybe 40 yards. I use bbs mostly cause they are easier to load.

I know nothing about guns and stuff. But, there always has been a secret admiration for such stuff. Shame, never been able to go deep into it but, this collection of yours, Mark, might just inspire me to do so.

If I know anything, to call it a gun would probably be the greatest insult to a guy like Mark. Guns are the handheld revolver thingy's, a rifle, however, is a proper firearm that you use for shooting sports.

Just wait till you see what I am getting in November :)

I'm interviewing for a new job, if I get it I am going to go ape.

Gun is all encompassing. It can be used for handguns or longguns.

Those are the two main categories for civilian "small arms".

Hand guns (Pistols and Revolvers)

Long guns (Rifles and shotguns)

As I said, I know next to nothing about the stuff. But, there's a special place for it whenever I see people have the collections. My uncle has quite a few and my eyes lit when I first saw them. Not really pieces of history though.

Take some pictures if you can, you never know he might have a random rare gun.

Old revolvers and old shotguns can be worth a lot.

From what I've heard, getting a licence to shoot is the biggest piss take ever in the UK. The Chief Officer of Police has to approve your application in person. They do the biggest background check ever on you. And the certificates take donkeys years to arrive too apparently. Tbh it's not worth the hassle there. What are the laws in the States?
