PS3: Ranji Trophy Competition | Punjab Warriors (Kushari) WIN THE LEAGUE

By the way, just so it is fair to everyone, I will never make the first bid in a round (so I have no advantage of being the auctioneer).

Can we have a mock Auction one more time?

@arjwiz after careful deliberation I have decided that everyone must play the IPL horn at the end of each round :)

ROUND 1 HAS CONCLUDED.

Results
Round 1
(IndA - $8000) Bhuvaneshwar Kumar - $15,000 kushari
(IndB - $6000) Praveen Kumar - $6000 kushari
(Int - $8000) Peter Siddle - $13,000 Ishaank
(Int - $8000) James Anderson - $10000 kushari
(Sub- $6000) Umar Gul - $6000 kushari
(As - $3000) Sagar Pun - $55000 kushari

You guys should now edit the excel or whatever else you are planning. I will give a few minutes break until the next round begins so you can strategise.

@azad the concept is quite simple all you need to do is read the last page and a half and ull get an idea

This is a good example of how a manager bid outside his budget.

With kushari's last bid for Sagar Pun, he exceeded his budget, according to the excel. So the decision now goes to the previous highest bidder, Ishaank, who had bid 45,000 for him.

Ishaan, do you want to retain Sagar Pun in the mock auction for $45,000 or do you want to leave him unsold for now?

Try not to bid above your budget, guys, since it makes things slightly difficult to manage and will take time to rectify :)

btw unrelated to the thread but to any aussie fans Bangladesh just "lost" to Pakistan lost meaning IMPOSSIBLE equation to win

Since kushari had bid for about 5 players in the first round, and his limit exceeded, so the decision goes to the previous bidder. But , shouldn't he get the option to decide which player should go back to the auction pool?

Ok so the results of mock auction round 1 are:

Round 1
(IndA - $8000) Bhuvaneshwar Kumar - $15,000 kushari
(IndB - $6000) Praveen Kumar - $6000 kushari
(Int - $8000) Peter Siddle - $13,000 Ishaank
(Int - $8000) James Anderson - $10000 kushari
(Sub- $6000) Umar Gul - $6000 kushari
(As - $3000) Sagar Pun - unsold

Budgets remaining:
kushari - $69,000
Ishaan k - $87,000
Solomon - $100,000
valerian140 - $100,000
bradthelad - $100,000
Sarvesh_aus - $106,000
arjwiz - $100,000
azad - $118,000
honu999 - $106,000

This is a good example of how a manager bid outside his budget.

With kushari's last bid for Sagar Pun, he exceeded his budget, according to the excel. So the decision now goes to the previous highest bidder, Ishaank, who had bid 45,000 for him.

Does the 2nd bidder should have option of taking or leaving? Isn't it in case of illegitimate bidding, the next legitimate bidder automatically gets the player??/
