what's the plan for deadlines and the like over Christmas and New Year? I won't be able to post much if at all from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day

Read my posts carefully, when did I say that he's town? Null read on everyone.

I think if there was a lethal third party, that the writeup would give us at least a little hint, even if only subtle.

Are we even trying to make something out of the write-up? I know that the posts above have all the possibilities listed but still there could be something missing, something common maybe. And why can't there be SKs?

Also Hedger, why do you keep mentioning lethal third party? if there was any, then there would have been at least a kill. It's a ten-man game so lethal third party comes in the very least of possibility list.

Let's think of a possible set-up:-

10 men

Town:

Vanilla- 3
BP- 2
Cop- 1
RB/Doc- 1

7 townies make the most balanced set-up in my opinion but having a cop, RB/Doc and 2 BPs in a game would be too much town-sided set-up so ain't so sure about 2 BPs, could be even 5 vanilla maybe?

Mafia (simple):

2 x mafias

Lethal party or SK:

1 x SK or 1 x mafia??

This day is very important to us and we have to make sure we make everything off it. Not a day to waste, a failed kill is blessing.

That's 'cause we haven't had any proper discussion yet. I'd rather have this day resumed in Jan than day 3 but then I fear the lack of interest if that happens. I'm happy both ways though.

I wouldn't worry about inactivity that much. I don't see any players who've been particularly inactive to the point of bringing this game to a halt.

I don't know if it's early to say, but I'm getting town vibes from Sulaiman. Mostly because he seems intent on analyzing things, despite there being not enough information. Looks honest to me.

I'm tired of reading the word 'null' all over the place. Yes alright, maybe some of us can't make head or tail of what's going on but for me, it's just an easy way for the Mafia to maintain outward impartiality.

Look, there was a failed kill and that could be because of either an RB, BP or a doc. It's a ten-man game so I tried balancing the set-up with having 3 vanillas, a cop and an RB so what's left are two RBs 'cause in my opinion 7 townies would balance the set-up well. But then comes the probability of having types of cops rather than BPs, there could be 2 different cops or even 3! but then there would be no BP and that's what makes sense to me - having an RB/doc, 3 cops and 3 vanillas. Having BP with a cop and doc/rb would be too much town-sided incase there isn't any super-power mafia which I think there isn't (there was a failed kill after all). If you're thinking that why I am trying to only omit the possibility of BP and not an RB is because I've never seen two RBs in a single game but then there could be, one sided with the mafia and the other one with town but that's only when we are trying to think about the whole set-up.(1) Can there be 4 mafias and 6 townies? (2) Can there be 2 mafias and 8 townies? (1) yes, having a lethal individual such as an SK and a lethal mafia party of 3 but then the town would have to have such powerful roles. (2) yes, again. A godfather and a killer teamed up would be perfect but then the town will have to have only 2 or 3? pr and the rest be vanillas.

I know you would say "I was trying to get something going so FOSed him" but that ain't going to be believed as he was town-read by Hedger. Maybe you and Hedger are the mafias with a plan to do opposite things so one gets clear? However, I'd like to see Hedger defending El Loco by reasoning (again) why he seems a townie to him.

I'd advise against suspending the game: what I'd personally like is for the game to continue but that inactivity generally over the period be tolerated to a much greater extent by everyone. Suspending the game will just make everyone forget that we're playing the thing...

Looking back over, themusketeer's actions do seem strange in that says "El Loco is scum" without actually explaining that position... Generally in order to generate discussion you have to explain your position and not doing so is very strange play...

Screw it; we have to do something to try to focus discussion and move on from setup chat (which we really shouldn't still be on in Day 2) and the best way to do that is to create some pressure in the game. Thus, Vote: themuskateer because even in consideration of the fact that he replaced in late on day 1 he hasn't really contributed positively to the game bar a late vote on day 1 (which is OK in itself since it was justified to some extent) and an unexplained accusation on day 2. These aren't reason to lynch someone by themselves but bearing in mind that everyone is so boringly null at this point in time those sort of things look big in comparison.

Because people keep mentioning serial killers. There may be a non-lethal 3rd party (Survivor or something like that) but I seriously doubt there's a killing third party unless maybe a one time thing.

I'll ignore your other long post setup wise cuz I'm just as lost as you with what you're trying to say.

And User can you update the first post with replacement(s). Keeps confusing me.

Also I townread Loco, at least on day 1 because not much was happening, his posts provided some decent input that seemed genuine rather than forced, and really the way he played came off as townie. I'm a little less sure with the way he's played today. He's became a bit more passive in regards to everyone else, while he's just become a bit more involved in yash's play which I think that's the easiest thing to do in any case. I still have him leaning town at this stage but not such a strong read, not that it really was in the first place.

Also suspend the game over christmas. I'd rather not have to deal with even more inactivity during that stage, and I know I'll barely log in if I know I'm going to be coming back to 2-3 posts a day.

I'm teetering on adding a second lynch on @themusketeer . But I'll hold off until he makes an attempt at an adequate response. If he has genuine opinions on the game I'd like to give him the chance to explain them.
