One image covering multiple sports would be the ideal.

Going with multiple sports as an image with text on it, is a bad way to go.

What I rather thought of is having an icon of particular sport. I gave it a try and colour selection is something I might consider redoing.

Well as the idea is having it be fairly subtle, they don't have to stand out, just be there. My point was more that it won't be rotating between different sports with different images.

As this was my favourite so far - and about the only one I could get without a bunch of text on it - I've put that up on the test site. http://testing.planetcricket.org/forums/forums/vbookie-sports-events.96/

It's not 'final' yet in case someone comes along with something much better, but it's an improvement over the one I've got currently, so well done.
