RIP World Cup Super League 2020-23 (World Cup Qualifier Jun 16 - Jul 9)

Enjoying the contrast of Scotland opening bowlers. Chris Sole bowling 85-90mph and Brandon McMullen bowling 72mph outswingers with the keeper up.

Amazed they are here and not in country cricket. Sole would be a great asset in the Blast at least and McMullen, with his batting ability, is in the Stevens/Higgins mould that'd probably average 25 with the ball and 30 with the bat.

Sole should be playing in more than the Blast with that sort of pace.

Looking at his stats I don't think he's ever played county cricket. He'd on the verge of a test match call up with the pace he has. He's not played a lot at all for someone who made his debut in 2016, so I can only assume he has had injuries.

I remember someone once saying that Scotland have a pacer bowling 145 kph plus who was either erratic or injured. Don’t recall the name but perhaps that could have been Sole.

This Windies team will still make it to 2027 with not many changes in personnel, so i am not too sad. I am over the moon for likes of Raza and Sean Williams, this was probably their last chance at an ODI World Cup spot
