As Griffo and Holdenator fight it out for the right of captaincy, the team has landed in Fiji ahead of their match against Samoa tomorrow. This however didn't go without controversy. Debutant Burnsy1 was embarrassed when he was stopped by customs at Nausori International Airport, Suva. Burnsy1 failed to declare the three apples he had in his bag, but said that it was an honest mistake. Fortunately, he escaped a fine and was let off with a warning.

Meanwhile, Xuzuno has begun training with the team. The Eagles would need all the training they could get ahead of the match against Samoa. It has been rumoured however that some members of the team aren't getting along and constantly disagreeing with each other.
Mad Snake was quoted to be saying, "well there are some people you get along with, and other people not so much. I'll leave it at that."

USA and Samoa are set to kick off in approximately 24 hours.

Ricky Ponting is one of the best yes, but captaincy doesnt decide a match... team work does, Ponting has looked to bring in different ideas and others have not such as the rotation of in fielders so there are no "weak fielders"

Captains can decide matches with crucial decisions that they make. Yes I agree that team work also decides a match but when it comes down to it the captain has to make decisions that could change the way the match has turned out.

Captains have to lead from the front and this is what I will bring to the team.

So Frediw you are counting the fact that griffo has been only for around 7/8 months more than me against me?

A captains job is to build a team through relationship building and then lead that team from the front by completing your job to the ultimate standard and have others around him/her strive to achieve more
