I've played the first half, and written it, but I don't have time to post it. So unfortunately, you'll have to wait until tomorrow. I'm not sure what that is in the UK, but it'll probably be when you are sleeping tonight. Sorry!

Hello and welcome to National Stadium in Fiji here today. We await the match between two decent sides, Samoa and USA. It's the first match of the season for the Eagles, so all eyes are on USA to see how well they play with a new coach and new players. No injury concerns for either teams, so lets hope we have a good match ahead of us.
The teams are coming on to the field. There is a slight breeze blowing across field, however it shouldn't affect the play. The sides sing their respective national anthems, and they prepare for the kick off. Lets take a look at the teams:
There has been much anticipation over this match. Now all the wait is over, here we go with the kick off from Samoan flyhalf E.Ma'a...

Welcome to the first half in a match between Samoa and USA. Lets go to the action...
9:34 - The game so far has been dominated mostly with possession from USA. They continue to gain territory over their opponents however Samoa have managed to clear it away every time.
11:56 - The Eagles are near halfway, the ball is going nowhere for the Eagles, so Mad Snake make a terrific kick, bouncing into touch for a defensive line-out, five metres from their own line. The throw from Letoa reaches Palepoi. Passed back and is poorly kicked out by the Samoan flyhalf. USA will have an attacking throw five metres out. A good throw from Bell is quickly taken by Mexted. The Eagles forwards form a maul and drive it over. The prop Osentowski easily dives over the line for a try. USA lead 5-0.
12:24 - The angle for the conversion would challenge the Eagles' kicker a little. Mad Snake is lining the ball up, about seven metres from the left hand touch. A slight breeze coming from his left, but it shouldn't affect the kick. He runs in... and kicks it beautifully, and it's right between the sticks. 7-0 USA.
12:45 - The kickoff is a long kick, Gutterman attempts to catch it, but fumbles it for a knock on. The scrum is a good one for Samoa, but they are slow to clear the ball to the backs and it quickly turned over by USA. The Eagles got away with that one!
19:13 - USA are struggling to get the ball out of their half. Samoa have it and continue to run it forward, attempting to penetrate the Eagles defense. The referee calls offside against the USA backs and the Samoan captain is quick to have a shot at goal. Ma'a times it nicely and the ball sails between the posts to narrow the score to 7-3.
24:38 - The Eagles are in the opposition's 22 after a penalty. Gutterman slips back into the pocket. This looks like a drop goal attempt, but missed to the right by a mile.
30:45 - It's back in Samoa's 22. A powerful scrum from USA is quickly passed out by Ayub 95. Received by Gutterman. Mad Snake with the overlap to Burnsy1. The Eagles have numbers here. A long pass to the winger Freddiw, who smashes through the opposition defense for a brilliant try under the posts. Conversion to come.
31:12 - An easy kick for Mad Snake adds two points to the score to make it 14-3.
36:47 - The Eagles on attack now. Burnsy1 finds a gap between two defenders. What a grubber kick from him! Behind the Samoan fullback. USA runs on to the ball. Ayub 95 picks it up and easy as you like, dives over the line to make it 19-3.
37:14 - A tough kick for Mad Snake, but he makes no mistake of it. What a wonderful kicking display we've seen from him today.
The Eagles go into the break with a lead of 21-3. The coach would be pleased with that. Join us when we come back for the second half of the match.

Welcome back to the second half. The first half was dominated by USA, coach Xuzuno should be pleased with that. Samoa will be looking to improve for the second half of the match.
40:00 - Substitutions for the Eagles at the break. Holdenator has come in for Ayub 95 at halfback, and Shefellover93 replaces Adyhorn at fullback.
47:17 - USA are on the 22 metre line of Samoa. Gutterman goes back into the pocket. Holdenator passes from the ruck to the USA flyhalf for the drop goal attempt but it falls short and misses again to the right.
47:24 - The Eagles however get the penalty from an earlier high tackle. Griffo is quick to go for the three points. The kick is just outside the 22 metre line, and about six metres from the right touchline. Mad Snake runs in... and maintains his 100% kicking record today, brilliant kick! The score is now 24-3.
59:56 - Samoa has been on the attack for about 10 minutes now. They've got good momentum, but can't seem to get pass the clinical USA defense.
60:39 - I think I spoke too soon there. The Samoan halfback Hn'solo passed it to Falua from the ruck. He made a quick pass to the number 8 Sootiti, running in the opposite direction. The defenders got confused, and Sootiti found a gap between Griffo and Burnsy1. What a great run from Sootiti! He keeps running over 20 metres and sidesteps the fullback and he finishes it off in style. USA will have to improve their defense for the rest of the match. Sootiti makes it 24-8, with the kick to come.
60:58 - Ma'a with a fairly simple kick. He's kicking just from the right of the posts, and predictably converts the try. He has now closed the gap to 13 points. The score is 24-10 USA.
61:00 - More substitutions for USA. Thesweepmaster is coming off in place of L.Stanfill, and Highlander999 makes his debut, replacing Burnsy1 who has had a good match today.
70:01 - We're into the last ten minutes here today. The Eagles have a comfortable lead, but anything can happen in the final stages of this match. USA have been on the attack for some time now, but knock-ons and other handling errors have prevented USA from scoring a fourth try.
72:27 - The final substitutions comes in for the Eagles. MacDonald replaces French at prop, Aylor comes in for Clever at flanker, and Mangan has replaced the skipper Griffo, who is being applauded off for a brilliant debut match. Holdenator will now be the captain for the rest of the match.
78:31 - The Eagles have been on a long phase of attack here. They're looking for the last try. It's passed back from Holdenator to Roofrom50 who's had a quiet match. He surprisingly goes for the drop goal, but embarrassingly falls well short.
80:00 - USA, 10 metres out. They are looking to improve the scoreline. Holdenator makes a short pass the Mexted, who knocks the ball on! Samoa with the ball, but they're tackled out of the field of play. The referee blows the whistle for fulltime.
That's fulltime here at National Stadium, where USA have started their season off with a win. The Eagles scored three tries to one and came out deserved victors. USA made a huge run into the lead in the first half. The second half was much more even. Samoa outscored them in the second, but it wasn't enough to defeat the men in white. Xuzuno will be pleased with his team's performance. They came out fighting, especially in the first half. There are a still a few things to work on at trainings, but tonight they should got out and celebrate a marvelous display of rugby they put on today. The man of the match has been decided and Mad Snake takes away the honours. He had a 100% goal kicking record and his brilliant tactical kicking set up a try.
