Running ms-dos applications

Got a repair on my computer and since getting it back when I try and run dosapplication like cricsim and microprose football and some other time wasting apps I get this.

Yep DOSBox will do the trick. I'm running that exact cricv12 exe for my sim matches and it works without a hitch.
 
The more likely reason it just stopped working now is that you might be on 64-bit Windows now, and older 16-bit programs do not work on 64-bit OS's.

Of course, DOSbox will work, so will any other virtualization software like VirtualBox, but then you'll have to install DOS / Win98 on them, so best go with DOSbox.
