I am guessing, franchises are a bit vary of picking Sri Lankan players as their core overseas group because of the stupid TN govt which doesnt allow them to play in Chennai ? Some of the knockout games are in Chennai I believe.

According to the latest reports , Narine's been banned from bowling the off spinners in any tourney organised by BCCI. However , he can bowl his other deliveries (Knuckle ball , quicker straight deliveries). This might will be the end of Narine's off-spin career.
