Draft: Selection: Impossible

My first pick of the two remaining will be a legendary all-rounder from the Island Nation south of India- but will be primarily a batsman in my lineup-

Sanath Jayasuriya will slot in one of my empty batting positions. Even though an opener primarily, he would have to slot in at 2-down to accommodate. The legendary all-rounder has 6973 Test Runs averaging 40 and 98 Test wickets as well. He is one of Sri Lanka's icon players.

Second pick to finish my XI up- with a plethora of openers in my player pool and my team already having two set openers- I go for this middle-order great from West Indies-

Jimmy Adams captained Windies during the 1990s and though had a relatively short career, averages 41 in Tests with 3012 runs. He is also a handy bowler. Having batted 3 for the Windies, he will take that position in my lineup to complete the team.

Hey man @Aislabie sure I'll give it a go. I'm a glutton for punishment. Give me hard or impossible and I'll make my picks hopefully by the weekend

Reckon you could still form a great team with my mission from the players that haven’t been picked by anyone yet.
