Hussey failed to capitalize the golden opportunity he got and played a very poor shot off Kaneria. He just gifted away his wicket by lofting the ball in third man region where Umar had no difficulty in holding it. Hussey today had a very good opportunity to impress the selectors because Clarke was playing really well on other end and he had no pressure on him.

But Hussey goes for just 12 and Kaneria got his second wicket of the match. Australia is now 190/5 and Symonds walks in as new batsmen.

Despite of wicket at other end, Clarke continued to play well and got to his 50 in very quick time off only 52 deliveries which included five boundaries. Clarke is really set for a big one today.

Due to a wicket run rate now slowed down little bit. But Australia had one more partnership going as Symonds and Clarke added 37 runs for the sixth wicket. Now Australia is 227/5 in 42 overs with Clarke not out on 61 off 62 balls. Only 8 overs are left and Australia still have 5 wickets left. So expect some big firework now on the ground.

Now Inzy brought back Razzaq for bowling and he immediately got the prize wicket of Clarke. Clarke was looking to get some quick runs and tried to hit a slog-cover drive but he didnot got the elevation right and Umar held on to a very good catch. Clarke made really good 68 runs and Australia is now 236/6. This was Razzaq's first wicket and Hogg is the new batsmen.

Australia is in trouble now as their hope to get around 300 vanished with the wicket of Symonds. Symonds became Kaneria's third victim when he tried to clear mid-off but mistimed it and Youhana did the rest. Symonds goes for 19 and Australia is now 248/7 in 46 overs. Hogg is now joined by Lee on other end. Now Aussies will be looking to get atleast 28.

I still say 300 is possible. Hogg has a highest of 77 to his name and Bing has smacked quite a few 50s.

The tail of Australia got thrashed in front of spin of Kaneria and Afridi and whole team got all out on 277 in 49.5 overs. None of the last four australian batsmen was able to score more then 10 and the final total was left way behind 300 mark. Kaneria was the pick of the bowler with his 4 wickets. Sami also impressed with his 3 wickets. for Australia it was the partnership between Clarke and Katich that helped them reach a respectable total.

But still this is a very good total on the board by Aussies and now they have to bowl our pak below 228 to earn the bonus point.
