Inzamam:

It was a good bowling performance by our bowlers in the end. But I think spinners were not that effective as they should be and Australia scored 20-30 runs more then what we would have wanted. Now its up to our batsmen and we should win this with our good batting lineup. If openers fire in the initial overs, then it wont be too difficult for us to carry on from their.

Ponting:

Well, we batted well in middle orvers but lost the track in last overs. Clarke and Katich played very well and we looked set to reach 300 but full marks to Pak bowlers who bowled really well in death overs. Still this is a good total to defend for our bowlers who are world class and can destroy any batting. Mcgrath, Bracken and Lee all will be very deadly for Pakistan batsmen.

So all set for a great second inning of this third match of Sharjah Cup. Dont go anywhere as we will be right back for the live telecast of Pakistan inning.

So the players are coming to the ground for the second inning of this very crucial third match of Sharjah Cup. Pakistan needs 278 runs to win this match.

Once again Mcgrath provided Australia an early breakthrough when he clean bowled Afridi for only 2. Afridi who was struggling with his form, tried to hit a straight one of Mcgrath over the mid-on but missed it completely and bowl crashed into the stumps. So Afridi failed once again as Pakistan is 8/1. Captain Inzamam walks in next to join T Umar at other end.

Inzamam now joins Umar on the crease. Umar looked in really good form as he smashed Bracken for three boundaries in an over and took the Pakistani total to 38 in just 7 overs. Umar is not out on 22 of 20 balls. Bracken was today wayward and gave many 4 deliveries. Mcgrath was as accurate as always.

Umar and Inzamam continued to smash Australian bowlers and took their partnership over 50 mark in 10 overs.

Then Ponting gave ball to Lee in 12th over and he proved his captain's decision true when he strucked wicket of Inzamam in his very first over. Inzamam edged a quick delivery from Lee which was seaming away from him and Ponting took an easy catch in first slip. Inzamam made good 29 before falling to Lee.

Pakistan is now 63/2 in 12 overs and Yousuf Youhana comes in as next batsmen.
