Everyone, I am allowing y'all to retain one player from your real-life squad (check on wikipedia, obviously no retired players). Choose wisely. You can also name a coach in the meantime if you want.

I think I'll let everyone decide their preferred pitch type after the drafts end. That way we can have some (hopefully) different combinations of pitches.

After this, there will a regular draft, where you can pick any active cricketer who still plays First-Class cricket. Doesn't mean it can't be another home state player.
