Shoaib Akhtar In Trouble

Another one of those episodes in Shoaib's career. He will again come back, again get involved in a controversy, again will say that he will come back a better man, again be out of the team. Tired of this. Wonder why this guy isnt thrown out of cricket once and for all

i got hit over the head with a cricket bat once, not cool

and shaoib is finished now

Idiot. Why would you go and hurt your own team-mate. Shoaib doesn't belong in international cricket anymore. C'mon ICL sign him up!

What a tool. Hitting people with bats is crazy!

His career has been going downhill for a while now.

Shoaib Akhtar - what a nice guy, such a shame that these controversys have befallen him. I still remember that interview where he said he wasn't sure why people were angry at him for taking drugs. Liar, cheat, bad sport, and idiot.

Hopefully his career is finally over. Karma is working its ass off.

I won't delve too much into it, but the way he celebrates his wickets, his general demeanor on the pitch, and of the course the way that he used ignorance as an excuse to the whole drugs affair. "Didn't know what I was taking" my arse.

You disliked Asif long before the drug scandal. I still remember you calling him chuckasif when he did well against England. Of course I think the same about KP that he is cocky etc. It all comes down to bias really. If Asif was English you'd call him confident and probably same goes for me and KP.

I think there would have been some provocation for Shoaib to behave like this, but still it was a stupid thing to do.

He had one chance to come back to international cricket and now he's blown that. But if the past is any indication I think the PCB will be quick to forgive their 'premier' fast bowler and he might be back in six months or so.

Don't write him off yet. Everybody said he was finished during the drug scandal, but look at how he came back. I don't see Pakistan letting him go until they find somebody else who is genuinely quick and capable of winning matches...

Shoaib told NDTV that he was "feeling very bad". "Sometimes you do things in a fit of temper. I will address a press conference and apologise for my actions."

"I'm human, I made a mistake in the heat of the moment. I request the media not to make me look like a villain," he said.

Its very bad to hear that temper takes a man anywhere to do anything. If Asif had entered into some serious troubles like Coma stage, then the consequences would have been horrible. Thankfully it didn't go that worse.

Self control is very important to any person anywhere at any stage of the life....

Why would you hit your own team-mate with a bat. I understand punching him but hitting him with a bat is cowardly and horrible.

oh thats just so dumb, the PCB should take his contract away from him and tell him to get a job in a factory....

Drewska called him Chuckasif. I seem to remember defending his action.;)

You speak the truth though. Of course i'd like him if he was English. Well, I still wouldn't be too fond of him, but i'd like him a bit more. As it happens i'm not that much of a fan of KP, he just happens to be one of the best batsmen in the world and happens to wear the three lions.
