I also have a Slazenger V600 Panther that i use for practice and it cost me brand new ?3.50 from Soccer Sports and although it does lack massive power its realy good for glancing and positional play.

ok thanks ronaldo.Which 1 Torch,Flame...

No No. Ive got a slazenger. the Sxi. To be honest Im (expletive ; to say it would be wrong) with the bat. I faced about 10 balls tonight. And the ones I hit (3 or 4) pinged off the bat really nicely. Its got a good pick up. Nice and light. Im not really good enough for the bat really.

You should get a Kookaburra, I've had experience and I can say that they are one of the best brands around(for cricket bats)

How does Slazenger bats play? Does any1 here own a Woodworm and please tell me how it feels.

Have you slazenger for a number of years.

Very very good bats. They are the Gary Neville of cricket bats. Highly under-rated.

Thanks for all your advice.
I think il wait till the new year and then start to look, i havent played for a few years because of work commitments but this years Ashes series really brought home to me how much i miss the game :)
Hopefully i wont suck too bad after my long lay off hehe!

Hi, I just ordered a MRF Genius Exclusive LE but havn't used an MRF before only a Slaz and a Woodworm. What weight would you recommend? 2.10 up to 3lbs.
I'm not a big person and i'm very agressive (the boundary is my friend). Please give us some help as i need to tell them the weight.

lightest possible, with MRF you know the wood will have lots of grains and be high quality, so go for lightest

How old are u? No offense, but a bat costing ?3.50 would be very bad to say the least. Even a plastic bat in the UK costs that much.

I NEED SOME HELP!

On my second Beast, I had accidentally put Extratec (Anti Scuff sheet) on the wrong model!!:( And then I took it off! Some of the wood came off aswell, :crying :mad  :( , It ain't looking too flash now! I was wondering, if I get some good quality sandpaper, could I just sand it down a a bit to make it look new, and then apply the Extratec to my other beast?
Please help!!
Thanks
Lucky

Yeh that happens to me alot, Get some Abrasive paper not sandpaper, start with 80grit and get it on the same level and then move up to 120 then 240 and if you want it very smooth 1200 grit or 2400.:) good luck!

WOW! You do know a lot! I wish it never happened  The wood that was removed was a very very fine layer so I don't think I would need to much abrasive paper, but I will have to go get some sandpaper soon! can't wait to fix it! It hurts me just to look at my Beast like that:( :crying

Trust me dont get sandpaper its so unpredictible:p its way too coarse, trust me! 80grit Abrasive and 240 Should set you back a couple of dollars and will do the job!

Oh Ok, I though you were talking about sandpaper in the first place when you had all those numbers

Tanks a lot though ;) :clap
