Lara looks as if he was a decent footballer when he was younger. Great on the ball. Not as good as Alec Stewart though; he's a fantastic defender.

Shearer and Sheringham for England! I'm serious. We need someone like Shearer back in the team desperately! Now there's a man who played for the Three Lions with pride!

As I said somewhere else, the England captain for the night demonstrated more commitment, passion and pride when he started yelling at the players in the 87th (or thereabouts) minute, than the entire professional England team have shown for a good year. And that was in a charity match!
