My E drive has some bad sectors. Even my antivirus isn't updating. (antivirus is stored in E drive)
Is there a software treatment for that ?

Open command prompt (Win + R > CMD > Enter)
type the following command and press enter:

Code:
CHKDSK E: /X

It might take a lot of time, depending on the volume.[DOUBLEPOST=1406900472][/DOUBLEPOST]
formatted the pen drive to NTFS, and works like a gem, thanks a lot man. you're indeed a genius. :clap
Format it back to FAT32 when you're done with moving this file. Apparently, NTFS degrades the life of the pendrive.

WARNING:
- Formatting the device as NTFS will make it unwriteable on a Mac computer. Most Mac computers can read NTFS, but not write.
- NTFS is a journaled file system, this creates more read/write activities. Therefore, it MAY decrease life expectancy of your device.
- Once the device is formatted as NTFS, you MUST use "Safely Remove Hardware" to remove your device.

Transferring a 4GB or larger file to a USB flash drive or memory card

when I try to copy a movie "Student of the Year" (which is 4.37 GB in size) to my 7.50 GB Pendrive, an error occurs saying, "The file is too large for destination file system"..

That's because the format of your drive is FAT32 which has a limit of 4GB while transferring a file. You have two options.

1. The easy one, you just have to change the format of your drive from FAT32 to NTFS as NTFS has very large limit of file transfer. Considering the change of format, you will definitely have to make a back-up for your files as the ones in the drive will be wiped.
2. A bit hard, you may break-down the file in to two or three (depending on the original file's size) parts, making all of them less than 4GB and then continuing the process. You'll need the swissknife software for doing that.

I'd choose option 1 though.[DOUBLEPOST=1406905327][/DOUBLEPOST]Don't know why the messages weren't appearing before. -_-

What will that command do ? I have not tried it yet, fearing that whether it will format my E drive...

Well, lately my PC crashes up when I start a game on it.Worked perfectly when I played FIFA 14....but now,no game runs.A wondow opens shows the error to be named as 'BlueScreen'.
Any solutions?

Well,my engineer installed windows partially..i.e. a blank screen shows up when I encounter that error.

P.S.-My gfx card is made by Gainward.I have the ability to overclock it.When I open that particular software,it shows my GPU temperature at around 85-90 Celsius. It used to be around 60 when it worked. So,I opened up the CPU.Indeed the GPU fan isnt working.Does this indicate my gpu is dead or needs a service?

Your GPU isn't dead. The bad news is that you do need to take it for a repair. The fan acts as a coolant and running your system without it for a long time will damage the card.

Thanks for that mate. The good news is that I manually rotated the fan amd it seems to work now.I guess some dust clogged in it.to stop it from rotating.
