Solve your computer problem with the help of experts!

I've a 1GB Nvidia graphics card (Shrader 5). I used it to play DBC14 on my PC with that but suddenly the fan stopped working and due to heat the computer got restarted. I got the fan changed and within 4 days, the new fan too stopped working and the restart problem resurfaced again. I don't think I'm playing too much game. Just 3-4 hours a day on the trot. Is it too much for my graphics card to handle? How can I solve get this problem solved?

Could be dust. Is your cabinet well ventilated? Make sure you keep your cabinet atleast 3-4 inches away from all enclosures to allow air to pass through freely.

No, it should not be too much of a stress on your card. Btw, when you talk about "fan", are you referring to the SMPS fan or the GPU fan?

I have cleaned the cabinet now. It is quite far from other enclosures too. Even I have opened the left side of my cabinet so that there is enough air for the cabinet. My brother is a hardware-networking engineer so he takes care of such little things.

Just checked that the wire that the repair guy soldered came out of place. People are recommending a new graphics card but isn't fan a normal/minute problem? Also, I can't afford another graphics card anytime soon. However, you can throw in recommendations just in case. Price of around Rs.2000/- (max) with Shader 3 model a minimum because DBC14 and other games that we have require that.

SMPS? I am referring to the fan in the graphics card.

For 2 grand..you may find gfx cards capable of just keeping you afloat with the games with moderate/low settings.
If you get up to 3.5k,you can get a decent one enough to cater for a couple years demands.

I use nVidia GeForce 9500GT, which I bought 4 years ago I think. It cost me Rs.2200/-. It works flawlessly with DBC'14 and I haven't had much of a problem with a majority of games thereafter as well. It's quite old so I'm not sure if you would find it in stores. You might need to check the online shops in that case.

I am facing this one lately. My Cooling and my GFX card fans are dying out.I need to manually rotate them before they start working and I'm repeating this every 2-3 days. What could be the possible reason behind this?

Well, that old problem of cooling fan is gone. But my GFX card 's fan is damn slow.Notches up to 65-70 celsius in idle state.
What should I do?

If you're confident of moving ahead, you could try removing the card, then the fan and clean its blade thereby removing dust deposits between them.

1) What If we clean it by normal air mode, instead of hot air ?
2)If no, how should I do ? Vacuum Cleaner ? Or Else kindly suggest...

I've come across many people who suggest using a Vacuum cleaner, but I personally use a blow dryer by keeping a safe distance between the parts and the air outlet.

So I just thought of testing out the Windows 8.1 trial for 90 days, and I found it quite buggy. Can anyone help one how I can uninstall this crap?

You can use this to clean all kinds of crap.
