I doubt anyone buy here illegal antivirus copies esp when it comes to protecting your important files and documents.

Kaspersky is best from my experience even thoguh I am currently using avast.
It doesn't, it's an utterly awful piece of software.

I use a combination of Avast, Comodo and Advanced System Care and haven't had a signle virus related problem since I downloaded them all last December. In comparison to Norton 360 which we got free for a year and was utterly awful.

Avast is good but I've found it doesn't detect few very common viruses for e.g Autorun virus which is always on my Pen Drive thanks to the computers in my class. But now Avira takes bad care of that virus for me

How much RAM is required to Nvidia 9600 1GB GFX? I have 1GB RAM and I keep getting blue screen of death. I think it's because of my less RAM. I am thinking to upgrade to 2GB RAM. Just wanted to know will it work fine with my GFX.

Update it to 4 GB once and for all. All the problems will be solved. Taking tiny steps several times will eventually cost you more than just doing a big jump once.

yeah, you are probably right. I should get 4GB RAM, hope that can solve all problems like auto shutdown, blue screen.

FINALLY my computer is fine!
I had to format the c:drive and install the windows again. Then I immediately installed Norton Antivirus 2010 (30 days trial) through a CD. Eventually I came to know that the virus infected my system as soon as the internet connection was available. It somehow came to know my IP/Lan Card Number. This was the reason I kept getting those viruses even after a fresh install of windows. Norton (2010) was the ONLY antivirus to detect this virus. I'm thinking of buying it in 15-20 days.
I recovered my personal folder after following a solution given on the Microsoft site.
DEFINITELY the worst virus that my system has been infected with.
