Trust me Family Guy's writing is extremely clever. Most people don't fully understand it, seriously. Robert Webb came to our class and told us about Family Guy and how it's one of the cleverest sitcoms of all time, and he would know.

That's because they have tried to be over-funny with their last 200 episodes and have deteriorated in quality.

yes i saw that! it was class! Mr.T wore a 'he died for your sin's' jesus t-shirt in his first interview for it, was quite funny

I think the simpsons gets too much stick, the recent episodes have been poo but I doubt any show could be as consistently funny as they have for the ridiculous amount of episodes they've done. I think they ought to get back some of the old writers, do 1 last series and finish on a high but I can't see that happening whilst there still raking it in.
How can you 'bring back' the A-Team when the main character (arguably) is dead?
