Spot Fixing Scandal Thread: The Legend Continues

Just wondering about the video footage where Majeed tells the NOTW man that when Aamir and Asif will ball no balls, what proof can NOTW provide that these videos were recorded before the match took place ?

Second thing about the photograph where Majeed, Butt and the NOTW reporter is standing, you might want to have a closer look Pakistan Team Match Fixing

Those are just thoughts anyways, let's see further revelations in the coming days.If the currency notes match with the one given by the NOTW guy, then it's curtains for Aamir, Butt, Asif and those involved.

It's perhaps time for the ICC to act and show it's power, so is the time for PCB to get their house in order.

This incident further strengthens Younis's return which has been ridiculously delayed for reasons which are becoming clearer now.

For those calling ban of Pakistan into test cricket just because of a bunch of cheats:-

Dream on :sarcasm

Oh, so Majeed recorded this video after the balls were bowled for a bit of fun? To see if he could get arrested and possibly go to jail?:sarcasm

Have ANY of the suspected players come out and denied the claims?

Here is another post he made a while ago:

I reckon even PCB might be involved.

Wont be surprising at all. If these match fixing claims keep repeatedly coming out and then they are hid under the carpet, the PCB must definitely have a hand in all this. Time for the ICC to ban Pakistan from world cricket for a few years and let them sort out their mess. If its the PCB, definitely Pakistan should not play cricket until they are in order.

Has Salman Butt been living under a rock. "I haven't heard any allegations"

Couldn't find a better quality video.

Can you please explain hows it any fault of 160 million people who love this sport? Its very easy to recommend to ban Pakistan from world cricket. I only wish people kept in mind what would this mean for future of Cricket in Pakistan. Its a miracle the sport has survived so long without any home matches. The miracle will not be repeated if our test status is revoked. I hope ICC has a lot more sensible people than some here at PC.

Obviously he has, i'm sure he and all the others were glued in front of the TV. He can't admit them it would be very embarrassing, besides what would he say? 'Yeah i saw those allegations and they were true'.:laugh

Personally I think that it is a great shame for Aamer, his bowling at Lord's was simply amazing, especially as he is only 18.

This player has a great future ahead of him, but if he is getting involved in things like this, then his career will only go in one direction.

Just seen that the alleged spot-fixing (and possible match-fixing) come under the jurisdiction of "conspiracy to defraud" with a maximum sentence of 10 years.

If they're found guilty then they could be facing jail time.

Well I for one wont be watching any Pakistani cricket team in any form of the game whether they are playing England or not until this is sorted and cleared up.

Of course in the great scheme of things it means nothing but it is my only personal protest at the situation.

I understand fully that until things have been thoroughly investigated there is little that can be done but just to carry on as if nothing has happened is quite frankly disgusting and another sign of the complete ineptitude that holds sway in bodies like the ICC, ECB and the lot.

I was very "happy" to see the Pakistani Prime Minister come out with a very strong statement, saying that the allegations shamed the country and that if proven true the players involved had let their country down massively at a time of particular hardship.

It was also good to see many Pakistani's absolutely disgusted with the allegations at to see them passionate about their cricket and their team and wanting to root out this kind of thing.

In that sense it would be unfair on those people to ban Pakistan as a nation rather than just the players involved.

There are millions of kids in Pakistan who would give their back teeth to be in the position these players are.

It is utterly disgusting and they need to pay the highest possible price.

I think he is referring to the fact we're all human therefore brothers.

Indians, Pakis, Neths, Aussies and Englishes are not bros bro.

And prey why not? I have already seen a comment of yours that I did not like one bit. If this is another of your attempts to prove your so-called superiority over other races I will come down very heavily on you. We will not tolerate racism here one bit.....

They aren't related to us at all. Not even human to be honest.
