Jayasuria on toss:
The pitch looks good for both batting and fielding, so it might be a bit of a risk fielding first, but we are confident that we can keep India to a gettable first innings total. We hope to get a few early wickets and then chip away at them from there. It'll be a close game but hopefully we can come out on top.

Gangully on toss:
"We were not really bothered by what we had to do today. We just new whatever we do first we must do well.
The pitch looks like it might move around a bit to start off with but hopefully we can see the early overs out and make a good score.
The pitch should spin more and more as the game goes on and this will suit our bowling attack."

best of luck Squiz, looking forward to an enjoyable match, will report abck at the end of my innings.

SCORE UPDATE AT 40 OVERS
---------------------------------------------
It is about halfway through day one and India are making good progress.
The score currently stands at 3/220.
Virender Sehwag 121
Sachin Tendulkar 49*
Akash Chopra 29

Sanath Jayasuria 3/44

The bowling has been very poor at times and very good at other times.
Jayasuria has 3 wickets and dissmissed Chopra with a beauty.
Chaminda Vaas is the only other bowler who has looked dangerous and surprisingly Murili hasn't had a bowl yet!

The conditions at the ground are a lot better for batting than first expected and India will be looking for something around 450.

Scorecard is attatched

Tim, you can use Shailesh's game tweak to change CPU bowling. Swap teams, start the game, change the bowler, save the game and quit. Again swap teams, start batting and you will see the bowler that you want bowling. Just be honest, make sure you choose Murali and not Sangakara to bowl at you;)

Forgot to add, Shailesh thats the third bird with one stone. Tell me you didnt expect this one, did you?;)

The last session of day one and the start of the session today were very fast scoring for the Indians, in particuarly the captain Gangully. The Sri Lankans started too bowl wide and wasted the new ball.

Will post some screenshots below.
