Steam update for DBC17 released

Wickets from my own batting attempt in the 2nd innings of Ban vs NZ:

Was pretty tough to time the ball properly on such a soft/slow wicket but that made it feel really good when I did hit one to the boundary. Would have had some wagon-wheels but I had to restart the game at one point so they were incomplete.

A very fun and enjoyable match all-in-all, I especially liked batting in the late evening with the long shadows across the ground. Very picturesque and actually quite relaxing.

Edit: I just went and looked at the actual scorecard of the NZ innings from yesterday and realised how similar it is to my own. (same MotM too!)

You drove me potty with your bat pad syndrome but you sure do know how to make great videos! Cheers.

I was trying to figure out what caused it to get it fixed man. I know I was putting some humorous music in the videos but that was mainly just for fun :p not like I was trashing the game, I love the game!

I have heard that when you manually change them and not use the default fields sometimes they don't stick. I also remember reading that the fielding issues where fixed for the default settings?
I was using a default Spin Defensive field, late in the game, with no manual adjustment.

Does that mean if you create your custom fields and save them, they should stick when you select those fields?

Sorry my friend I haven't played the game on pc as I'm on console. I remember reading something about the fields sticking issues being fixed but maybe I misread the post

Thanks to BA and the beta testers for getting the game to this level. In the latest patch, are the broadcast cameras added in training mode?

Is there any official confirmation from big ant that the patch has been submitted?

Well it took a while but.....26 run lead, last day....about 75 overs left in the day....see if we can knock up a relative quick 150 and have a bowl at them......well played Oyede...great knock mate......*nods respectfully in his direction*

2 wickets fell in the afternoon session. Ian Chappell out in the deep trying to punish the part-time spin of Richards, Hookes out hooking... no bat pad chances in the whole session.

Garner took a wicket first ball of the 2nd day, Gilmour caught at leg slip. Marsh & Malone both caught by Haynes behind the wicket, and a smart take by Rowe at leg gully sees Bright the last man out: 338/10 in 105.4 overs on a grassy hard wearing no cracks pitch. No bat pads in the innings - could have been 2 or 3 had the fielder been in there. A few drops as well...

A brilliant bowling innings. Bouncers have been made effective.... 4 man pace attack was a joy. at one point had a a leg slip, a leg gully and a man on the hook at deep square leg.

Can see myself playing bodyline :)

I really hope they've got them to stick for all fields. This is something that was said to be fixed, but a few are saying has come back as an issue to a lesser extent than it was. Really hoping it gets sorted before a final release. I mean you set a field and then you should be able to bowl to it from then on until you change them, full stop really.

@blockerdave - No bowleds or lbws in that innings from Australia, sadly. Glad there were no bat-pads for a change.

Hey blocker I just noticed the time when day 1 finished 6.21 and a full over Count do you have adjusted times or standard 11 to 6 normally the day just ends when it gets to 6 doesn't really matter how many overs you have bowled is it now letting you bowl the full days overs regardless of time cheers
