Ghostbusters wins by 2 wickets

What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Ghostbusters will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Ghostbusters proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.

Rashid Khan opened the bowling Codex. Although he was given some treatment by Chris Lynn, but he came back and took the all important wicket of AB de Villiers. Soon after ABs wicket Lynn was next to go. But Shoaib Malik took the responsibility on his shoulders and build a partnership with Travis Head. 15 runs were needed of the last over and it was KP who had to bowl it. Shoaib Malik didn't showed any mercy on him at all and smashed boundaries. 1 run was needed of last 2 balls, Malik hitted it for six and Ghostbusters safely got home with a ball to spare...

Chennai Twisters wins by 4 wickets

And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with Chennai Twisters claiming an impressive victory by 4 wickets. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Chennai Twisters and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Chennai Twisters proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.

As I said earlier this pitch is very dangerous with new ball. With mere 40 runs to defend Kolachi pacers used the new ball extremely well. Hasan Ali and James Anderson gave away just 8 runs in the 1st two overs and picked up the wicket of Hashim Amla as well. Chennai Twisters could feel the pressure now. Shadab Khan came into bowl the next over and Rohit Sharma played a big heave for six but on the very next ball he was caught by Miller. Chennai were in trouble and then came MS Dhoni and hitted Shadab for couple of sixes afterwards. Ben Stokes and tried to play quick and Chennai Twisters got the ticket to finale with 8 balls to spare...

Chennai Twisters wins by 1 runs

What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Chennai Twisters will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Chennai Twisters proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.
