@SamP how will you know who has been won in the private rounds without looking at the bids?

I've only got one player left to grab and feel quite confident ill get him at the amount I bid at the start of this round . If I am outbid I promise to let him go.

No man, then there won't be any point of private auction. I think nothing needs to be disclosed. Even if you tell them how many were highest bids, it can be easy to guess for some teams about which bids those are.

Problem with that is I have to not let anyone who thinks they have 15 bids placed (when in reality some have a large amount of their bids unsuccessful) bid so I think it would work better telling people only the amount of successful bids they have. Otherwise it's going to take 2x as many rounds.

No, I think the bids should be announced if they are completed, otherwise it's a bit unfair to move the goalposts on team's strategies.
