Me and Rizzyx just played a match and he thrashed me! I attributed our teams roughly so we had a go with them. I think Ravi Bopara may need toning down a bit as his 40mph (yes, 40!) nearly bounced twice and I couldn't hit them! I got hit on the chest and given out lbw only to review it and be told it was out ! Not only that but he top scored as well.

I think Bopara is fine lol Other than the fact that he is currently a 1 star bowler and should be at least 3.

My Afridi is 2 should be 4 in T20. (World class bowlers i.e Ajmal, Narine, Swann, Mendis should be 5)

I was bowling slower ball bouncers that I have been practicing with Umar Amin, it took some mastering. They are unplayable to most but i have played against one or two players who have took them apart.

I really lack genuine pace, I have the quick bowlers but I don't know how to ball fast, i have tried but pace never goes beyond 70mph.

I think I may have failed to give your players some sort of skills that perhaps increase their bowling pace? Will take a look for you.

The problem with me bowling with pace is not only with the players you attributed, all pace bowlers I have used I have failed to get past 70mph, its something I am not doing right when running in.

I even tried Pakistan all time great attack, Akhtar, Waqar, Wasim and Imran Khan all at their peaks but still did not get past 70mph lol

Need more practice.

Edit : Also, if anyone feels like being helpful would you mind sending me what star rating you think each team should be for batting and bowling ? These won't be followed exactly but will help me a get a rough feel of how good people thing specific teams are (as well are their balance) and may be scaled up/down a bit. For example, I think my team would be the same rating for bowling as batting because of its balance however some teams may be stronger in a specific department.

I'm feeling pretty helpful. I'd say five stars each for the Leeds Lynx, and I guess one star each for the rest of the teams. Everyone agree?

Birmingham Bears had another online warm up game today, this time around we got thrashed against an All Time Best Pakistan side.

That brings us back down to earth after the victory against Southampton the other night.

On a plus note, I have figured how to ball faaaaast. Exciting prospect now with Morkell, Topley and Cummins, may go for all 3 in a few games. Needs more practice yet though bowling too many no balls and finding it hard to control the swing, but we can only get better from here.

I have to say us PS3 guys have a massive advantage over the PC only guys as we would have had 2 months worth of game play.

I think may be the PC tournament should be held back to about a month after PC release to give the rest of the guys a chance to catch up, what do you guys think?

De Villiers wicket was a no ball by miles, I was expecting that commentary line, "Bowled, him! Oh wait no, it's a no ball!", somehow it wasn't noticed !

Very good game there mate! Just perhaps 10-15 or so more runs by not losing those stupid wickets in the middle overs and I recon I'd have been in with a very good chance!

Any thoughts on the kits/attributes/players from both teams ?

In the game we played, some of the field settings I usually opt for were not available, I think one of them was Pace Defense 9 and another was one of the spin settings, do you know why that was?
