T20 World Cup 2024 (West Indies/USA)

Reckon Virat's back in the dressing room telling anyone who'll listen that's it's a really tricky pitch, two-paced and not coming onto the bat well at all?

Imagine Kohli or Rahul in 90's in these type of match scenario's. Rahul in particular, but these two guys has done well for India, but we need more intent players like Rohit, Pant, Hardhik or even Sanju.

Really don't understand why Mitchell Marsh is not bowling at this stage
All-rounder captains either massively under-bowl themselves because they think they're a batter, massively over-bowl themselves because they think they're a bowler, or only bowl in super high-leverage situations because they think they're gods amongst men.

Mitch Marsh clearly feels he is a batter.

For me he the Brian McMillian type bowler that hits the bat hard

Speaking of Aussies with weird roles in the team, since he last played any other international format Matt Wade has played 49 T20Is, averaging 36.75 with the bat at a strike rate of 138.35. However, he faces only 8.67 balls per game, and has a best score of only 45* in this time. He has not batted above number 7 since September 2022, which was reduced to an 8 over game. In the 41 games where he was carded at number 7, he has averaged 44.20, struck at 147.33 and faced only 7.31 balls per game.

I know he's performing his role very well, but I can't help feeling that it's just a bit strange.

Marsh wants to be hated again or something.

CSK fraud.

Pretty much every rational CSK fan envisioned this happening when they picked him and earmarked him to bat at five as a finisher of sorts.

Showing Ed Smith what a specialist number 7 is all about

Surely India have scored enough to guarantee they qualify
