A bit different, as with an ankle injury you can bare the pain when running in, but with an elbow you might not be able to deliver properly.

If Tait is selected it can only be good for England. No more Gillespie to bowl at, and more fodder for Flintoff :)

But now that I said that, Tait will score a 50 and dissmiss Freddie in both innings.:p

Tait deserved a shot i thought, he is young and will get some confidence and experience from this game. Gillespie has been hurrendous ever since getting off the plane :)

Lee and Tait the new Lillee and Thomson? I like the sounds of that. Who said the Aussie era is over :D if these 2 fire and some new Aussie batters make their mark.

This is a ripper of a quote, warning to all english batsmen.
"But there are times when you need to hit the batsman to put him off his game, and put the rest of the blokes coming in off their games. If the guys on the sidelines are seeing their blokes with their heads cut open and that sort of stuff, they're not going to want to come out. So it's part of the game. Ever since I was young, every couple of games I've hit someone and hurt them."

What a player, he sounds more like an assassin.

So the Aussies have resorted to playing a person who can injure players instead of a wicket taker.

You sure are building this guy up; looking forward to seeing him bowl tomorrow.

Yeh, and people think Boxes protect the jewels completely.

Fact: The box was first used in cricket about 70 years before the helmet.

We're men and proud :D

Also, theoretically, you don't need a helmet. You're not compelled to stand in the way of anything head height.

Well if a person retires hurt and can't come back then that is as good as taking a wicket. :D Imagine if he managed to get all 11 batsmen retired hurt. :D

I've always wanted a bowler that sends stumps flying. Its a toin coss how he will go, I hope he proves me right and doesn't embrass me with a shocker. :p

Now that would be an interesting stat, most retired hurts in an innings.

Just because he hurt tim Roberts who isn't the best batsmen doesn't mean KP and Vaughan will get injured as they are better players.

gone for 26 in 5 overs so far..oh the aussie hype machine

There's potential there, quite skiddy although i think his action needs to be remodelled because he looks like he could get injury prone.
