Senwag Autographing fans.

The series was an important one as that was a crucial chance they've got to clinch the top spot even in ODI's. All Indian fans there at New Zealand were pretty happy and many of them were in a hope that India was to win the tournament.

Indian skipper said that the journey was a good one and there were no problems in journey. He appreciated the Indian fans at New Zealand as they supported them greatly.

Many Indian fans there were with posters "Chak De India"& "Go India Go". One of a fan Yashwanth said that he wanted India to win this tournament and clinch the top spot. He said that there were no matches of Australia VS India at New Zealand as he liked them. Many other fans even echoed the same about India VS Australia at New Zealand.

Kiwis Announce the Squad.
Well, the New Zealand selection committee gave the 14 man squad for the upcoming triangular series. As a hosting nation, a bidding was done to decide few sponsors of tournament. The Tournament is named "The DEC Tri Bash" and Few sponsors are National Bank, KFC, NZCT.

The selectors did no surprise pick ups in the side. Gareth Hopkins was selected as his performance in domestic cricket was a good one. Dabiel Vettori was pretty confident on the side as even Jesse Ryder got in. He said that bowling Sehwag is fearsome and he did admit that it was damn difficult to stop Sehwag when he gets going.

The Clash between the teams is expected to be a good enthralling one, provided the weather should be in control.

Australian Cricket Team was ready at Hobart, where they were all set to play their first encounter of the series against India. They all gathered and were deeply practicing for the series 'cause they were on a mission to defend their top spot.

Indian practice was going good. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was pretty confident of a win, but he said that the opposition is strong for which they were to fight hard. He said that their main aim was to get Ryder and McCullum as early as possible, all over the series.

Big Clash for the DEC Tri Bash, First ODI Preview.

4th Feb, 2010.

Well, the Tri series "DEC Tri Bash" is all set to start tomorrow. Checking out with the teams, each and every team is equally balanced. Tomorrow, the mega event kick starts at Auckland, where The Hosts Kiwis will take on India. All the tickets at Eden park have been sold out and it'll be a house full, with greater part of "Bharat Army".

Last time, the final ODI of the five match series was played at Auckland and surprisingly, there were lot many Indian fans rather than New Zealand fans at the stadium. India lost that match to New Zealand as Indian middle order failed. This time, MS Dhoni is confident of a win at Auckland. He said that the practice of Indian team says him that Indian win will be seen in the next game, and at the same time, he said that the bowling crisis was a huge disappointment for the team as the pitches at New Zealand favored pacers.

MS Dhoni addressing Media
"Our pacers Zack, Praveen, Ishant Sharma, Ashish Nehera are practicing a lot. May be we may call up one more pacer at midst, if needed because except Zack, everyone are unreliable. Pradeep Sangwan is a good medium pacer, but he can't bowl more than 130's, which again is a head ache as New Zealand pitches need bowlers who bowl above 135-140. Nehera is working on his pace, Ishant is looking confident to strike. Zaheer, of course is always confident. Regarding our batting, we're blessed with many batting stars at this moment, so we're not worrying much about that section. But still, practice is going on, our batsmen are looking confident, and I'm very sad to say that our win tomorrow depends on the batsmen. If they do good, we have got chances of winning." said Mahendra SIngh Dhoni, the Indian skipper.

Meanwhile on the other side, hosts are looking equally strong. They've got Gerath Hopkins, who can keep so Brendon McCullum can be a fielder. Having Shane Bond is a great advantage to Kiwis because he can strike well at his home country pitches. Tim Southee looks good, but he has to perform. He has performed well against the Aussies, so, many are hoping that he'll do good. Daniel Vettori is a player, who can control the economy rate and pick up wickets. So, if he gets going, New Zealand can have a win. Jesse Ryder gets back, which is a huge advantage for them.

MS Dhoni addressing Media
"We're working good at nets, and hopefully, if we get Viru early, that would be a great advantage for us. Getting Viru is the key, and if we unlock that and perform a good show, we can have a easy win. Not that getting Viru is the only key, but we've to perform good after getting him."

The Match begins at 14:00 Local time and its a day night one.
