Story Australia Journey Chappell-Hadlee Trophy - New Zealand v Australia

You're getting better but there are still some basic mistakes. I can excuse some grammar problems, but surely you know it's Vettori not Vettroi. A story just isn't good reading if you have to analyse a jumble of badly spelt words and try to get some sort of meaning out of it.
Some of the ideas you have are nice, just proof read each update before you post it. I know you can be in a hurry but as your readers we'd rather wait for a decent update which we can enjoy reading than a rushed effort.

Keep it going though!

The Big Picture

The Chappell-Hadlee have been habit of bring some close games in the first two games. With the incredible six balls to spare victory made the series 1-1 and all come's to the third game. Australia' triumph in Auckland made the crowd happy as Michael Clarke, makes up his two consecutive centuries with a Average of about 104 in the series. The hosts were disappointed in the second game and hoping to make a mark to lead up the series. Australia's last engagement in this format was a 5-0 success over West Indies and Pakistan and they are on a make of five-game winning streak. Ben was impressive in the second game as picking some couple of wickets which led me the replacement of Lee.

New Zealand are without Ryder for this match as few problem's led him out of this match. The New Zealand players have a new hero (Broom) which he led the his team as he'd made up a useful contribution (94) just shot of a 100 but when his team were in trouble he'd produced the boost which it made a 311 runs chase to the opposition, but the bowling part wasn't good. "I'm happy but as a captain [you get] sick of having to test depth issues," Vettori said. You look at the likes of a Neil Broom who has come in and performed very well on his few chances. Maybe there are opportunities which will led the team better if we perform well in the upcoming match

Australia were also having little bit of trouble as Ricky Ponting will be not available to play as he is suffering with back injury. The deputy Michael Clarke to lead the team for this match and he's performance is been extremely well against the Kiwis. Pup and Mr Cricket are the key players for the Australian side. Mr Cricket has become Mr Consistency over the past six months. He is the world's No. 5 ranked ODI batsman and remarkably has reached double-figures in every one of his past 19 one-day international innings. And Either Clarke have been the most important player for Australia as his two consecutive centuries, have taken he career average about 45. "A lot of us are getting 40s and 50s and some pretty good starts, and getting competitive totals like yesterday. But it's pretty important we start putting some big scores together and start batting New Zealand out of the game." Said Mr Cricket (Mike Hussey)

New Zealand v Australia at McLean Park, Napier

Welcome to this third Odi match of Chappell-Hadlee Trophy. It was Australia how won the toss and they'd elected to bowl first. The crowds are ready as well as Players and so are we, In the commentary box is Michael Slater, Mark Taylor and Shane Warne.

Here we are, the umpires are making the way up to the centre. (Shane Warne - Was Amazing to see Franklin to open the innings with Brendon McCullum). James Franklin was disappointed after the opening role was given, A enormous catch by Bollinger and first wicket goes down for just 4. As the hot spot show's just was a edge. New Zealand were on to build partnership between McCullum and Guptill. A no ball costing a free hit and Guptill get's the bat on bowl and clear the ropes and in the next two deliveries Guptill entirely missed the ball and was bowled for (12 of 14 deliveries). McCullum found himself doing the same reconstruction job he has phd in and this time, Taylor found some form and proved to be an able partner. Partnership yielded 54 off 12.4 overs and New Zealand went past par score of 100 in 20 overs.

New Zealand started with 103/2 in 20 overs. Doug Bollinger and Ben Hilfenhaus didn't bowl too bad but balls were hitting sweetest spot of Brendon McCullum's bat and Ross Taylor liked the bounce and pace off Napier pitch too. Ross Taylor was dropped at deep mid on as a lazy fielding by Marsh. McCullum was on fire was he is about to make a half century. Ross Taylor hasn't been in top form and today wasn't his day either, although he negotiated 51 balls for his 42 runs, added 47 runs with Brendon McCullum with a 64 runs stand for the third wicket. McCullum half-century was so important to his side, And New Zealand are building up the partnership. Taylor comes down the track and the ball disappear's for six and it was the first of those's.

After a beautiful innings, McCullum's dismissal reduced visitors to 145 for 3 wkts in 28th over(As they were going at 6 runs per over), ruling out any chance of a 300 plus total which once looked obvious with short square baundaries and consistent bounce 22 yard strip. Ross Taylor was the man who went on and registered a half-century, within 63 balls. Ross Taylor responded well, making 58 off 71 balls and added crucial 69 with Scott Styris. The Run rat decease's as the two players playing petty slowly and not taking ricks. Eventually Styris tried to lift Johnson over mid-off only to see Shaun Marsh sprint back to take a wonderful catch with the flight of the ball. Taylor was aiming to be there at the end but his departure, caught at deep midwicket off Clarke, gave Australia a sniff.

The Wicket Keeper Hopkins kept on walking offside and glancing Aussie pacers past short fine leg baundary time and again and kept his team in the game despite his partners departing from other end. Neil Broom was star of last game and his counter attacking innings brought blackcaps back into the game with Gareth Hopkins playing cameos. A short knock from Broom (28) helped New Zealand to bring 201/6 and more 8 over to go and the batting power play steel to forces. The Captain Vettori walk's out to the centre. batting Power play have been taken by the New Zealand Captain Vettori. A Fantastic fifty from Hopkins and in just 27 balls and the strike rate about 195.2 And Even Vettori bring up his fifty and the partnership reach's up to a 100 runs stand. And he's strike rate is about 239.4 and in just 17 balls. New Zealand are excellent throughout the last 5 overs 85 runs for 1 wicket. And at the end they made 298, so now Australia need 299 to win this third odi match.

New Zealand v Australia at McLean Park, Napier

To win the second match, Australia requested 299 to win the match. New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori knew the fact and played 3 full time bowlers in both the match matches but yet managed only 11 wickets in the series against an Aussies attack that demolished them 9 wickets in this match in the last few overs.

Shane Watson and Shaun Marsh were started well and made up a 50 run stand for the first wicket. But when Kiwis had visitors neck and crop with Vettori sharing 1 wicket, The opener Watson was given LBW by Steve Bucknor. After Aussie captain Michael Clarke had made an egoistic decision of bring Hussey up the order. Marsh couldn't regain form, scored 43 from 75 balls which haven't proved to be best individual score. Michael Hussey was impressive and more up to double figures 19* and Marsh was finding some of his shots and He made up to his second fifty (50 off 81 balls). Hussey's counter attacking 42 off just 41 balls with 2 fours and a six. And a fifty run stand for the second wicket either. Shaun Marsh tried to match bat on bowl but Vettori's wicket showed Australia for a 126 in 27 overs and Marsh managed 59 runs, that too off 97 balls. Clarke came to join Hussey yet again. Clarke looked set but gave up his wicket when Australia Need a Partnership. Southee was the pick of the bowlers with Vettori. And with that the Requested Run Rate move up to 7.35. Cameron White not slogged first ball from Daniel Vettori after Michael Clarke's dismissal.

White have smashed 2 sixes and some cheer for Australian fans. Australia's run-chase began excellent when Shane Watson (35) and Shaun Marsh (59), But when they failed the middle order on difficult stage, they started up with 70/0 but the middle order have'net product the boost and then they are now 145/4 in 30 overs. And now White was dismissed by Bond as the change in the bowling. Hussey brings up his fifty and A brisk sixth-wicket partnership of 62 between Michael Hussey (53 off 56 balls) and Adam Voges (28 off 23) kept the RR Rate blow 6.

With a partnership of 68 between Michael Hussey and Adam Voges, Aussie hope to counter attack in late batting power play but they lost the wicket of Voges for 30. This time it was Nathan McCullum who pick's his first wicket and delight for the bowler. Australia finally got some boundaries for Manou and this time he was looking to score some runs, as he haven't scored some of the runs in the last two games. That was Hussey who was looking to clear the ropes and have cleared the ropes and it was his 2 six of the match. He was the stand-out performance of the day, scoring 78 runs of (7 fours and 2 huge sixes) but more importantly, he remained calm when his team needed the most, at 44th over mark as Voges was failed. Now Australia were on the feet in which they may win (requested more 37 runs from last 5 overs)

Manou have made a useful contribution as he scored 37 runs with 4 fours. Manou found free scoring deliveries frequently and helped himself to a speedy 37, adding brisk 45 with Michael Hussey. Both left & right handed experienced Aussie added another 50 for 5th wicket to neutralise any chance that Nz may have had in this match. Hussey was given The man of the match with 85 runs and Australia won the match by 5 wickets.
