Tendulkar's career seems to be over. NO!!!!!! :crying Utter nonsense. Some pakistan astrologer said it would happen and he seems to be correct. Tendulkar is still hurt, and he won't be playing in the Super Series. Why does this happen to any player?? Especially one of the greatest players ever in world cricket. :

It says Tendulkar didnt opt out of the Super series due to his injury. He opted out of it on the advice of his consultant Dr. Anant Joshi who feels that Sachin should take part in at least one domestic match to evaluate his recovery before playing in an international match. So he is not yet tested in competitive cricket, but one thing is sure that the injury has not yet come back! So positive signs of Sachin coming back still remains. He is a vital cog in India's plans for World Cup 2007

yup. i am sure he will come back better than how was in the last year or so! remember the past year or so, he played with the tennis elbow injury where he had limited shots in his firepower. now that he has underwent surgery, he should probably have all the shots that he couldnt play.

SACHIN CAREERS OVER?, NO WAY!!!!!!!, Sachin will not quit International cricket becuase of only one thing the world cup in 07, his got his sight on that, and Sachin will take it step by step to get his confifdence up and play good cricket, the good thing is that in the past 18 months India have been playing well without Tendulkar, so when Tendulkar comes back it can install extra confidence into the Indian team, and play thier cricket brilliant, I predict in world cup 07 Sachin will play his fast and fiery game again, but like I said it going to take time for him to play.

Sachin completed 32 this year April 24th. He still has 3-4 years left in him. He last played for India in the ODI against Pakistan in Delhi on April 17th 2005!

I think Sachin might be ready for the South Africa ODI series this November. He had the surgery in May and was advised a rest and rehab period of 12-16 weeks (from mid-May!). He would complete 20 weeks by mid-October. So he should be perfectly fit for the South Africa ODI series. He can even skip the India-Sri lanka ODI series at home if he really wants a good long second innings in international cricket!

He should be fully in action for the test battles against Pakistan and England! Most of the Indian spectators feel that his heavy bat might be contributing to the injury that he has had so far! Since andrew's link for the definition of tennis elbow says that is due to overuse of the elbow, the overuse comes more into picture when the weight put on the elbow is more and it is indirectly related to the weight of the bat! He can reduce the weight of his bat by some amount!
