I can see Murray ending his career a lot like Tim Henman, and I'm sure you Brits know what I mean. Will be an absolute legend for a Brit, but beyond that I'm not sure he has what it takes to win a Grand Slam. Hope I'm right.

Andy is already a way better player than Tim was. Tim absolutely maximised his talent while Andy is only just starting to realise his. He has already reached a Slam final (which Tim never did) and has won one more title than Tim already, including three Masters Series events in the last year.

The only question mark over him is still his durability, can he play seven five set matches in fourteen days? If you look at Federer or Nadal, they normally wipe the floor with their opponents in the early rounds of Slams, while (like today) Murray can struggle. He needs to start winning these matches easier to conserve energy for the later rounds.

I can't see him beating Federer a grass court yet, but I think he has a great chance at the US Open (last year he was shafted by the scheduling, having to play the final the day after his semi when Roger was putting his feet up).

He should make the final of Wimbledon this year though, as with Nadal out there is no-one that you can see him losing to.

Murray does have a problem with strong players such as Del Potro and Gasquet. I don't think he's a cert for the final.

How do you class Gasquet as strong? Mentally, physically or just in terms of being a really good player?

He is none of the above three.

Murray has a knack of losing to mediocrity, and beating the best.

I'd certainly agree that Murray is a better player than Henman was, who was always really just a good player. I just don't see in him the champion that Federer and Nadal are, or others have been in the past.

Hewitt up 2 sets to love 4-3 with a break against Del Potro. So close to a win.

No nor do I.

He is more than capable of winning a couple of Slams though at least, he just needs that first one and that would just get the monkey of his back that Britain haven't had a male Grand Slam singles champion since 1936.

But I can see Nadal continuing to struggle with injuries, and Federer can't go on forever, so who knows what he can achieve.

I think Federer will fall away and retire before Nadal and Murray. Nadal and Murray will then fight it out for number 1 and 2 in the world in loads of grand slam finals.

With kind of game Nadal has he wont be lasting as long as Sampras or Aggasi lasted.

You wonder if Nadal's current injury is a result of how he plays the game. His stance is like Owais Shah's batting, very taught and rigid. Tendonitis zone.

Murray, on the other hand, is an extremely fit player. And I mean that in physical terms, not attractive terms!

Well he won here in Dubai. And he did lose to Nadal in three ATP finals, and the Australian Open semi-final, so basically he has come out short against the best player in the World. His defeats against Kohlschreiber and Roddick were a bit disappointing though, but overall, he looks a fantastic player, very capable of beating Nadal and Federer on his day. He is a Grand Slam winner.

Tim Henman was never ever considered a legend by the sane majority of Britain. The only people who actually liked him were those nobheaded daily mail reader types who sat on Henman Hill being bell ends cheering on one of the most pathetic excuses of a sportsman that our country has ever produced. A performer who had even less bottle than Ian Bell. I've seen cans with more bottle.
