Well Ravi .REached the 36 th over .India 182/5(realistic).Kaif and Yuvi bowled by inside edges from Symonds.Dravid and sehwag got lbw while Sachin was run out.Harvey in particular was difficult to face and was very economical.

I think the files you sended the latest were the same as previous because I was getting the same error for bat.exe.I want to confirm that is bat.exe is different from ODIBATTING.exe which you send us in mail.If so then I dont have the bat.exe and bowl.exe.
And I think if you guys have bat.exe or bowl.exe you dont have to overwrite the folders again and again which I have to do because I think the bat.exe files just saves your energy of overwriting the folders again and again.
If so then why I am getting the error .Pelase check
Good to know the batting files are performing fairly well. How about the shots in the air, are they too easy to use?

I am not really sure why have you been getting the bat.exe error. There is no bat.exe or bowl.exe used for ODI patch, at the insistance of Jonah and other I used the cricket2002.exe as the weather patch was applied to it.

First up, when you run the installer (ODI batting.exe or ODI bowling.exe) that I sent you in mail, you will get given an option of where to install the patch to. Choose a different directory (use browse button) if you have not installed Cricket2002 in the default directory c:\Program Files\EA Sports\Cricket2002. Then on installer will install the patch and will prompt with finish button on the same screen. Press finish and it should run Cricket 2002 for you. Thats pretty much it, if you still cant get around it attach an image of the error you are getting and I will see where it might have gone wrong.

The reason it overwrites again and again is because each of the file have different values in it although the files are named the same. This does not resemble the bat.exe or bowl.exe I had come up some months ago, this is a new install.

Mate, I am happy to share with you the files. In exchange if you will let me know the results of the game you might play using this patch, I will be mighty happy. Its just a request I wish to make with you in exchange of the patch. Also this patch might not behave appropriately on different surfaces(probably it might) as not enough testing has gone into this patch. I am more than happy to share with others but it is better to share a good working one than a not so good throw to the bin patch. Your feedback can be used for perfecting the patch and it really does make it easy if quite a few play with it.

Did you want me to send it to your email ID mentioned in the posts above?

Never mind, I have sent it to the address you have mentioned in one of the above posts.

Amber22, you still seem to be having trouble receiving my email. The one I sent few minutes ago failed to get to you.

Jonah, did you want the English domestic exes packaged with the setting files?

It does not give this error during bowl.exe and neither run the exe automatically

And Ravi , playing the ball in the air was not too difficult resulting in a few mistiems though. So I think its a good mixup. But it was very easier to hit the spinners for six on the leg side.
The fast bowlers were not too easy to play as well as not too dificult to play as well as the spinners too.So I think the Normal pitch was supposed to have this kind of thing only.
So I think so far its going good.I will post in a few hrs Cpu batting

The problem there is quite evident, you will need to install it in the directory c:\games\cricket2002 only. Chop off the other stuff from the install directory and have only c:\games\cricket2002, it should then run all right.

You might want to hold on to that one for few minutes. The whole setup files were a bit too screwed up for CPU batting, they were hardly able to time the ball as well as heaps of edges flying all over the place. I am trying to rectify this one right now, hopefully should not take too long to sort it.

Also how did the install go through this time?
