Not a problem, take your own time. The files are on their way all you guys. I have retained the configs from the ones appreciated by Jonah and Shailesh to start with as they were tested and found good enough.

Jonah, you should now be able to resume your domestic season without having to be bothered by me to test any more.

Redefining the ball properties was one heck of a job hence had to forgo that and retain the ones Shailesh and Jonah tested before. Do post the feedback when you guys have some time.

Received your latest set Ravi, thanks.
The ones before that sure were out of sorts. Playing on a normal pitch me (Eng) bowled out Pak (cpu) for 128 in 25 overs. When I tried to bat I couldn't time a thing  (which isn't all that strange for me, but this was excessive!).
I've started another one, same teams, pitch etc, and the cpu was better at 70/2 off 15. However, I think I'll restart with the files you've just sent me, and as you say, stick with those for a few games to see how the cpu plays over a period of time, not just the odd game or two.
Of course I'll post feedback :) .

Zimrahill, When you have some time let me know. If you are still playing Cricket2002 I will send those tweaks to you and you can advise on any fine tuning, you seem to have spent lot of time on the tweaking.

Thanks for that Mani but just dont jump on the gun yet. Give it a good go on different sort of pitches, different oppostion and see how it goes as well. I am suspecting very hard batting conditions on every pitch although I wanted to give ourselves a chance to score 300 quite regularly on hard and dusty pitches. I will be tweaking these in the coming days to make batting realistic to score right kind of scores on different pitches, you guys will certainly hear from me in another couple of days.

actually can u tell me how should i use these file
in the email what u mentioned was difficult to understand

i first used the batting one but in it the battiing seem to be easy
i was n a hard pitch
and CPU was playing airy fairy shots and gettin out
i got 6 of them caught on slips

Hi

Kiwi, I am reading all your mails regarding to prepration of your new One day patch and I will definately say that I cannot wait to play it.You are doing a hard work and the gyus who are testing with ebullience are also praisable.I hope in next 10 days it will be available to all the persons who want to enjoy this game.Having a overview of this patch, I do believe, it will enliven the game.I really will love to see those features which was mentioned by you earlier that
1: Tail enders batting qualities have been reduced so no more batting of tail enders like Richard.
2: First you will have to stay some time o n the crease to be familiarized with situation ,then risky shots can be played with proper timing. Then you will be adroit enough to negotiate the things. This looks so realistic and will make the game more enjoyable for hardcore fans.
3: All the pitches will have different kind of attitude and cpu and human batting will be very close to real stastics.

I can hope by seeing your dedication that this patch will be a colossal step towards the improvement of the game. This will enable the game to amuse us with magnificence. We will be able to enjoy the game untill another leviathan patch or Cricket 2004 touches the shelves.

Make sure you are using my latest files as one other version was quite messed. Always start a game with ODI bowling.exe, if you win the toss and choose to bat or if you lose the toss and CPU chooses to bowl, play an over, save the game and exit. Then restart the game by using ODI batting.exe file, carry on batting till the 49th over and then exit the game. Restart the game using ODI bowling.exe and bat the last over of your inning. Then carry on bowling to the CPU the 50 overs of its batting.

If you win the toss and choose to bowl, then bowl 50 overs to the CPU. Contine with the same ODI bowling.exe and play 1 over of your inning and exit the game. Restart the game using ODI batting.exe and play your entire inning.

The whole idea behind this one is to use ODI Batting.exe whenever you are batting and ODI Bowling.exe whenever you are bowling. If you do it vice versa then you know it will be screwy. Also your mentioning in your post that the CPU could not bat very well might have been due to old version file you might have been using. I can resend the new one if you wish or use the last sent version.
