Hi Ravi
I just played  a game with ur newest files
Its great man
I got 2 slip catches and 1 caught behind
Hey Ravi i saw a lot of straight balls going for 4 byes
missed be the keeper
plzzz look at it
Where are the byes mate I cant see it in the extras column at all? Am I missing something here, I tried to reproduce that but failed to on a normal pitch. It can get a bit screwy if tried to fix the hook shot issue you got although I havent really been out that way too many times. It might be an issue to fix if other also have the same problem for now am not experiencing it. We shall wait for a fortnight as see if others come up with any issues with the patch.
I wasnt talking about this match when i mentioned about byes
Ravi i received ur test files
Ill try it today night
and tell u how it went
I hopee u have tweaked the run rate during a testmatch
normally it remains below 5

Give it a go and let me know, run rate for sure will be appropriate to the pitch types. How do you find the new ODI files, the batting will be far more easy for better teams I reckon.

Which ODI files r u talking about.
The most recent one r those which u sent me yesterday
Those files r awesme

In my first game with the new files i found batting to be a lot more challenging than usual. I batted first on a normal pitch and this is the first innings. I found it quite hard to play fast bowlers as they bowled up to 160kph sometimes! The spinners also bowled a lot quicker and about the speed the swing bowlers normally do!

I didn't find bowling too hard, but an eight wicket partership at the end saved the windies and let them win by 3 wickets. They were 7/121 but made the total without losing another wicket.

In my second game on a DUSTY pitch i decided to bowl first this time and bowled out zimbabwe for a dismal score. All that i had to do was bang it down on the right length and the batsmen strugled.

I still need to practice my batting, as it is a lot different to normal, but i made the score and won the game. Again, it was the fast bowling that did me, this time Heath Streak.

Thanks for the feedback Vetts. Youll be all right with batting after having played few games. The fast bowlers indeed are quite hard to play, just make sure you dont attempt too may shots playing across the line at the start of the inning.

You will get different kind of scores playing different opponents on variety of pitches. Hopefully bowling will not be that very easy each time. CPU should come up with big scores in some games and low scores in few games as well. This is just to add to the variety, I would be interested to know apart from the scores you have posted has batting and bowling been fun at all. This patch is being made to ensure you enjoy batting, bowling, win some and lose some. It should be hard to win but it shouldnt be impossible to just to keep us interested in the game.

Ravi here is a score of the match i started
hey whn spinners r bowling lots of balls keep low
look at it
coz i got 2 lbws of ball staying down and when i was playing on a hard track
hey ravi i still dont think this patch has slowed the run rate of the cpu
actually when i bowled it keeps the run rate above 5 only
and cant u tweak the autoplay
Its really rubbish if im 7 down of 230 and i autoplays to 230 all out
if im 2 down for 230 it takes to 450 somethig for 3
if u can it wud be great
in this im batting i will complete the game 2 day and pst the scorecards

If you are playing on a hard pitch, you can keep the R/R low by setting the field as well as bowling outside the off. CPU will leave most of the balls and only one or two batters will be aggressive though I can simulate and see if its true. The bargain in Tests is if you attack quite too much without having fielders to plug the gap you will go for runs. If you mix the pace of the deliveries, with good fielding positions and bowl one side of the pitch you can keep the R/R down. If you bowl quite a lot on stumps you are in with a chance of getting a wicket or two but in the bargain you will give away a lot of runs. I will try a play a game as England against the SA and see how it goes. For now, the Autoplay is not an option to tweak although I dont think there are avenues to fix the Autoplay.

Look below Mani, the game is played on a hard pitch on a sunny day. The Runrate is less than 3 I bowled with 2 slips and 1 gully throughout. If you guys still reckon the Runrate is a bit too much we can certainly tweak those. You didnt mention the LBWs were when your were batting or when you bowled. Let me know.

My first win against the mighty OZs, I played as India and set a huge total on a normal pitch with Tendulkar and Shewag showing great form to start with. Yet again I was successful in using Shewag very well by scoring a hundred for him. Gangooly scratched around for sometime and when settled unleashed an array of strokes. When Amber said he could score 100s for both Tendulkar and Shewag, I wanted to try that out. Try it out I did in great style, Aus showed good resistance but unfortunate runout of Hyden and with some good bowling changes I could bowl Australia out in the 49th over for 241. There is a definite advantage playing for India with their top order always showing good form and also all the variety of bowlers available in their team.

Well done Ravi...a great feeling to beat Oz! I wonder if it would have been any closer if the two openers hadn't been run out?
