Well done Ravi...a great feeling to beat Oz! I wonder if it would have been any closer if the two openers hadn't been run out?
Its anybodys guess ;) , I think I would have lost it  . Hyden scored those runs in 30+ balls if he had carried on the target would have been reached in 45 overs  .

If you guys have tried the Test Cricket Patch, can you let me know if the CPU choose the Test Team and not ODI team when playing a Test match. I am unable to get the CPU to choose the Test team each time I try to play a Test match. I have used the Player Lineup Editor to customize the Test team but I have noticed that each time it chooses a ODI team instead. I think if its choosing the ODI team for you guys as well then there is a problem with the Matchtype parameter the CPU might not be understanding we are playing a Test match and not a ODI, that will explain why the R/R is quite high when CPU bats.

Can you guys believe I lost the game on the last ball of the game with Martyn lofting one straight and my fielder diving but not able to stop the boundry. I never realized the game could go to the wire after having them 7 down but 2 dropped catches, Mcgrath edging over the Gully for 3 boundries and defending by edging all around the wicket contributed to my loss. Cant take anything away from Damien Martyn for that marthon inning but still I cannot believe I lost the game. There is an advantage playing for India but certainly not against the Australia. The CPU defended few balls even in the 50th over and played only 2 aerial shots in the 49th and 50th overs. I made a mistake by spreading the field expecting the CPU to go over the top every other ball in the last two overs but to my disappointment it just didnt try to whack every ball and scored 10 off the last two overs. Now on to the final game of the biseries. Bringing Gangooly when spinners went for runs proved a masterstroke, Gangooly got Gillesspe off the 4th ball of his first over. I was dumb enough to bowl Zaheers' 10 overs first up and Agarkar finishing his 10 within 35 overs also proved bad moves. I could have gone for another seamer instead of Harbhajan although he batted very well.

I'm afraid I won't get a chance to try the Test files for a while Ravi :( . Should be able to after a fortnight or so...

Nice close game there Ravi...good luck in the final match :) ...

Ravi , I returned from holiday today , and I am ready to test the test files. My school is starting tommorow so I might not get much time everyday but surely I will do a bit of testing.

For the team files , I have so far tried against Australia and I found that there are 2 different teams choosen by CPU for ODI and Test Matches.Like CPU chooses Langer and Steve Waugh for test matches while dont have them for ODI's.But I have'nt tried against other teams. Will let you know about this.

Amber, thanks for that. The Test match files might need a bit more tweaking as far as the CPU batting R/R is concerned so dont bother testing them for now. Will send you a new set of files in a day or two. I understand you will certainly not have too much time what with schooling and exams around the corner. There is no hurry on this take your time to test the ones I will send.

Jonah, not a problem there mate you can take your time.

Anyway Ravi , I tested for 3 overs before I could get your message.
I was batting first. The problem for me is when a left hander bowls to me(left handed batsman). When a yorker is bowled I just defends it and still I gets bowled. In these 3 ovrs , I have lost 2 wickets like that

Hi Kiwi,
I hope you will be fine.I am sorry I got your files but was unable to test it consistently sue to some domestic suddenly arising problems. But how much testing I have made I really liked it.It has improved a game drastically.Yesterday I played a match between Pakistan and India and it was nail biting finish.I ndia first scored a mammoth total of 322 with the help of Sehwag 111 and Tendulkar 66.This match was played on hard pitch in Sharjha. When I chased,Saeed Anwar played magnificently and scored 160 and Inzamam and Razaq were big helping hand,They scored 39 and 36.Eventually I lost by 7 runs. What a miss.sorry for no screen shots.

The only shortcoming which I felt with this patch is that when you hit some boundries , like real life cricket it will not place a fielder to that area to fill the gap.Overall I enjoyed alot while dealing woth this patch.I have seen that you are focusing more on test, so it,s means this is almost ready for release?

Hi Ravi, i have just finished playing a one dayer with the files you sent me. I was the West Indies and i was playing against Pakistan. I batted first and made 354/9 off 49 overs. That big score was greatly due to ther being not much protection backward of square on the leg side. i think that all of Gayle's shots besdies one went down there. besdies that the Batting was made alot more challenging and i enjoyed it a lot.
Wen i went to bowl i found it still very easy, i bundelled out the pakistanians for 67 and ended up winning by 287 runs.

This match was a lot of fun besdies the CPU not being able to bat.
is there anyway i can make the CPU batting better?
if so what files do i edit?

Im sorry i forgot to say the match conditions

i played at Melbourne, on a Normal Pitch, Cloudy and Warm
