Sami Aslam had played his entire 13-Test career before he turned 22, and had departed Pakistan entirely before he turned 25. He's just been picked up by the Texas Super Kings, and will presumably be a USA captain before he turns 30. What a strange career he's in the middle of.

Ashraf Ali was ahead of his time, in the sense he was a batsman first and keeper second. Test average of 45 and FC average of 38. Won't be keeping wicket either, so he can focus on his batting.
My final XI: Marvan Atapattu Russel Arnold Saeed Ahmed Nathan Astle Shakib al Hasan Ashraf Ali Ravi Ashwin Imtiaz Ahmed (wk) Gobo Ashley Taskin Ahmed Shabbir Ahmed
Happy with how it turned out, pace stocks could have been a bit better. This team would destroy on a rank turner.

Arnberger never got Aussie recognition, but what he did do was average 40 at First Class level. With a strong top six around him, he's fine as a second opener. I also considered Tom Andrews (the 20th century one) but I'd have had to open with Ackerman in that case.
@Aislabie that's the end of the draft, do we get to have a Bradman lottery next?
