The Bands Draft

05. :ind: :bat: Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi (3 tests)
just realised he has actually played 6 tests (3 more for England).

I will instead go for :eng: :bat: Ed Smith

01. :saf: :wkb: Ryan Rickelton (8-10 tests)
02. :eng: :bat: Ed Smith (3 tests)
03. :wi: :bat: Clyde Walcott (27-49 tests)
04. :saf: :ar: Jacques Kallis (50+ tests)
07. :saf: :wk: Heinrich Klaasen (4-5 tests)
09. :eng: :bwl: George Lohmann (17-26 tests)
10. :aus: :bwl: Bert Ironmonger (11-16 tests)
11. :saf: :bwl: Alf Hall (6-7 tests)

:eng: :bat: "Jack" Russell
910 runs @ 58.67 (5 centuries, best 140) in 10 Test matches

"Jack" Russell (not that one) lost his entire playing prime to the World War, yet still broke into the England team aged 33 and averaged nearly 60 with five Test centuries. His Test career was ultimately ended by the emergence of Herbert Sutcliffe, which is obviously fair enough.

He was a dependable opening batter, and although England often asked him to bat out of position, he will not be doing that for me.

1. :eng: :bat: "Jack" Russell (band 5)
2. :eng: :bat: Wilf Slack (band 8)
3.
4.
5. :eng: :wkb: Craig Kieswetter (band 11)
6. :saf: :ar: Mike Procter (band 6)
7. :aus: :ar: Alan Davidson (band 2)
8. :aus: :bwl: Shane Warne (band 1)
9. :aus: :bwl: Alec Hurwood (band 9)
10. :eng: :bwl: Charlie Parker (band 10)
11. :wi: :bwl: Tony Gray (band 7)

@Umair7 or @Supreme General if we're skipping him

No more skipping lad!

Well would you care to make your two outstanding picks then
1- Bill Ponsford - Need an opening batter & he fits in perfectly!

2- Jhye Richardson - I like him so he makes the team (good bowler too)

3- (I am just checking some stuff about two players but since it's an old pick - people can move on)

Dammit should have responded quicker.

Anyways with a quick change in strategy we pick someone who is definitely more known for the shorter forms of the game in the attacking form of Fakhar Zaman. Resulting in a slight alteration in the batting lineup.

1. :ind: :bat: Vijay Merchant (8-10)
2. :pak: :bat: Fakhar Zaman (3)
3. :ire: :bat: Ed Joyce (1)
